  • Publication number: 20110193681
Abstract: A system for use in multi-rooms of an office space, provides wireless or other communicative connection among paired devices for each separate room and a central device. The system includes a central control device, an inner panel device communicatively connected to the central control device, and an outer panel device communicatively connected to the inner panel device. The control center device includes illuminated notifiers and control center buttons, the inner panel device includes inner panel buttons and a video display, and the outer panel device includes outer panel buttons and a static display. Activation of buttons of the respective devices changes state of the illuminated notifiers of the control center device.

  • Publication number: 20100201875
Abstract: A self-contained audio/visual presentation system for ease of use. In networks and methods for providing audio/visual presentation systems to facilitators, such as meeting facilities, and by the facilitators to customers of the facilitator, an owner supplies one or more audio/visual presentation systems to a facilitator without relinquishing at least some of its rights to the audio/visual presentation system. The facilitator rents the audio/visual presentation system to its customers. The facilitator compensates the owner for each use of the audio/visual presentation system. A user may obtain an access validation, use the access validation to actuate (e.g., turn on) an audio/visual presentation system, and operate the audio/visual presentation system.

  • Patent number: 7096532
Abstract: A vacuum dustpan having a housing with an inlet to the level of the floor surface into which dust and debris can be directed. A vacuum motor induces a vacuum to transfer the debris to a collection chamber within the housing. The vacuum dustpan is usable in locations such as shops, hair salons, kitchens and other environments where debris collects and periodically swept.

  • Patent number: 6839244
Abstract: A retainer for securing wires in a locatable position in a ceiling or wall structure after the structure has been shut in. The retainer has a mounting surface with terminals to which the wires are attached. The terminals are each connected to conductive path so that a signal applied to the opposite ends of the wire can be sensed by a tone generator. The retainer has wins or tabs securable to the framing members prior to being walled-in. A magnetic locator on the mounting surface allows a technician to accurately locate a center point for cutting an opening to receive a device such as a sound system speaker.

  • Patent number: 6102355
Abstract: A support device for imparting repetitive motion to items such as a computer monitor. The device has a support base connected to drive means which impart either a reciprocal, an up-and-down or both motions to the support to induce relief and therapy to those who are required to focus on the device for extended periods of time.

  • Patent number: 5570654
Abstract: An auxiliary seat attachable to the hull of a personal water craft to provide additional seat space for the passenger. In a preferred embodiment, the seat is a retractable and is foldable to an out-of-the-way position against the aft portion of the hull to allow riders to board from the rear of the water craft. The seat is pivotally secured to the rear of the hull in a deployed position supported by brace means pivotally secured at one end to the seat frame at the other end slidable in a track having a detent which is engaged by the braces when the seat is raised to the deployed use-position. The seat may also be fixed to the hull by a rearwardly extending cantilever support.
