  • Publication number: 20230108024
Abstract: A system and method including a downloadable application which forces to view targeted advertisements on their mobile device in order to gain access to use of the mobile device. The ads appear on a lock screen of the mobile device upon powering up or waking up of the mobile device. The user can take one of several actions with respect to the displayed ad and upon such action screen is unlocked and the user is provided with full function of the mobile device. The user can be incented for each action through the accumulation of points which can be used towards paying the user's phone bill or for receiving another reward.

  • Patent number: 10897143
Abstract: A device for charging battery cells has conductive lines to be coupled to the battery cells, a charge control circuit coupled to the conductive lines to charge the battery cells, and to determine voltages of the battery cells, and switches to balance the voltages among the battery cells. In operation, the charge control circuit charges the battery cells while determining the voltages of the battery cells, and suspends from charging the battery cells before determining the voltages of the battery cells in a second stage.

  • Patent number: 10493300
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein to provide a user-interface to visualize and control a beam request panel for requesting allocation of usage of a shared therapy beam. The user interface allows a user to visualize a beam request queue, to request the shared therapy beam for treatment, to estimate when a beam request will be fulfilled, and to cancel a beam request if needed.

  • Patent number: 10449394
Abstract: A control system is described which provides a user interface that displays a clear graphical representation of relevant data for a particle radiation therapy system (such as a pencil-beam proton therapy system) for treating multiple beam fields as efficiently as possible. The user interface allows a user to visualize a treatment session, select one or multiple beam fields to include in one or more beam applications, and dissociate beam fields previously grouped if necessary. Further embodiments extend the ability to initiate the application of the generated proton therapy beam and the grouping of beam fields to be performed remotely from the treatment room itself, and even automatically, reducing the need for manual interventions to setup between fields.

  • Patent number: 10342997
Abstract: System and method of dynamically presenting visual representations of a target volume in an anatomical context to an operator-user of a charged particle radiation therapy system. The visual representations are integrated as a part of a treatment console graphical user interface (GUI) and presented as a part of a holistic view of treatment information. The visual representations are digitally reconstructed radiographs (DRRs) constructed based on anatomical images captured before the therapy session, or alternatively during a treatment session using an imaging system attached to the radiation treatment system. In an online mode, the on-screen visual representations are rendered in synchronization with the irradiation delivery process.

  • Patent number: 9595039
Abstract: Disclosed are methods for extracting and using information about an entity that has a presence in a number of information domains. The entity has separate identifiers in each of several domains. Various techniques are described that bind together the identifiers of the entity across the domains. The results of the binding are provided to an interested party that can review information extracted about the entity's behavior in the multiple domains. The interested party is not given access to information that would compromise the confidentiality of the entity. A trusted broker has access to information about the behavior of the entity in the several domains. The broker analyzes that information and provides the analysis to the interested party, again without compromising the confidentiality of the entity. An “incentivizer” works with the broker to extract from the domains information that would be useful in binding together the different identifiers of the entity.

  • Publication number: 20150164050
Abstract: An animal control device with an anti-slip friction holding mechanism which allows the length of the loop to be easily changed and eliminated the need for attaching a animal control devices to buckles or similar mechanisms. Some of device uses are to substitutes for leashes or collars as well as hobbling devices, with a device that can be easily adjusted for size to be used on multiple animals. In accordance with one embodiment a woven rope type product has an additional woven rope type sleeve(s) woven into the end of one or both ends of the rope structure so that the end of the rope can be looped back through the sleeve. This allows the loop made by doubling back the rope type material to adjustable in size.

  • Publication number: 20140358888
Abstract: The present invention provides the capability to quickly and easily determine the online reputation a target, and to quickly and easily take steps to improve the online reputation of the target. For example, a method of monitoring and affecting online reputation may comprise gathering information potentially related to an online reputation of a target, filtering the gathered information to eliminate information not related to the target, computing a reputation score for the filtered information based on both positive and negative information related to the target, generating positive information relating to the target, and distributing the generated positive information relating to the target to a plurality of online locations.

  • Patent number: 8422987
Abstract: A method and wireless device augment and manage, respectively, emergency alert messages with additional emergency information. An emergency alert message is determined to have been sent (404) to one or more wireless devices (102) in a given area. The emergency alert message is analyzed (406) to determine a type of emergency associated with the emergency alert message. Optionally, a current location of at least one wireless device (102) within the given area is determined. A message is generated (412), based at least in part on the type of emergency and logistics of the given area, including additional emergency information for augmenting the emergency alert message. The message that has been generated is transmitted to the at least one wireless device (102). This message is, optionally, adjusted based on the location of the device and the logistics of the given area.
