  • Patent number: 11995206
Abstract: A breach detection engine detects and mitigates the effects of breaches across one or more data sources. An index is generated based on one or more data sources and the index is queried using keywords indicative of potential breaches. A database of potential breaches is populated based on the query of the index. The potential breach database is queried using keywords associated with a system identity (e.g., a third party). A likelihood of a candidate breach is identified based on a set of breach criteria weights. A network node associated with a candidate breach determined to be an actual breach is identified for isolation or for the performance of one or more additional security actions.

  • Publication number: 20240157012
Abstract: This invention relates to a system and method for detecting a sanitising process and for determining the efficiency of a sanitising process. A sanitising process detection system comprises a substrate with a sensor patch for detection of a disinfecting and/or sterilising agent. The sensor patch produces a colour change on exposure to disinfecting and/or sterilising agent. An optical detector is configured to detect the colour of the sensor patch at one or more predetermined time instants. A processor compares images of the colour of the sensor patch, at a predetermined instant in time, with a datum (such as control or the colour of the sensor patch prior to exposure to the disinfecting and/or sterilising agent) and its output is used to determine the presence of a colour change and thereby indicates the efficacy of the sanitising process.

  • Publication number: 20220323217
Abstract: A system for delivering a replacement heart valve implant may include the implant including an expandable framework and leaflets coupled to the framework, and a delivery device including a handle and an elongate catheter extending from the handle. The catheter includes an outer sheath and an inner shaft movably disposed within the outer sheath. The implant is releasably coupled to the inner shaft. The inner shaft includes an orientation lumen extending longitudinally within the inner shaft, the orientation lumen being offset from a central guidewire lumen of the inner shaft. The delivery device includes an orientation mandrel disposed within the orientation lumen, the orientation mandrel extending distally from the handle to a distal end proximate a closed distal end of the orientation lumen. The orientation mandrel is operably coupled to an orientation mechanism of the handle configured to apply compressive force or tensile force to the orientation mandrel.

  • Patent number: 10905313
Abstract: A pressure monitoring apparatus (1) for monitoring pressure of a liquid (4) in a vessel (2) comprises a housing (3) within which an airtight gas chamber (6) is formed. A pressure sensor (8) is located in the housing (3) monitors the pressure of a gas in the gas chamber (6). A conduit (12) having a communicating bore (16) of total length Lt communicates the gas chamber (6) with the vessel (2). As the pressure of the liquid in the vessel (2) increases, a liquid/gas interface meniscus (20) travels along a working length Lw of the communicating bore (16) from the second end (15) thus increasing the pressure in the gas chamber (6) to the pressure of the liquid, which is monitored by the pressure sensor (8). The total length Lt of the conduit (12) is greater than the working length Lw of the conduit (12) to avoid the liquid/gas interface meniscus (20) reaching the first end (14) of the communicating bore (16).
