  • Patent number: 11967657
Abstract: Approaches for the foil-based metallization of solar cells and the resulting solar cells are described. In an example, a solar cell includes a substrate. A plurality of alternating N-type and P-type semiconductor regions is disposed in or above the substrate. A conductive contact structure is disposed above the plurality of alternating N-type and P-type semiconductor regions. The conductive contact structure includes a plurality of metal seed material regions providing a metal seed material region disposed on each of the alternating N-type and P-type semiconductor regions. A metal foil is disposed on the plurality of metal seed material regions, the metal foil having anodized portions isolating metal regions of the metal foil corresponding to the alternating N-type and P-type semiconductor regions.

  • Publication number: 20240127858
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for annotating transcript text with video metadata, and including thumbnail bars in the transcript to help users select a desired portion of a video through transcript interactions. In an example embodiment, a video editing interface includes a transcript interface that presents a transcript with transcript text that is annotated to indicate corresponding portions of the video where various features were detected (e.g., annotating via text stylization of transcript text and/or labeling the transcript text with a textual representation of a corresponding detected feature class). In some embodiments, the transcript interface displays a visual representation of detected non-speech audio or pauses (e.g., a sound bar) and/or video thumbnails corresponding to each line of transcript text (e.g., a thumbnail bar).

  • Patent number: 11935127
Abstract: This technology relates to providing a web-based digital claims platform to provide users with a simple and customized experience when filing insurance claims. The platform is enabled by a plurality of back-end application programming interface (API) resources. These API resources are event-driven (e.g., when an “event” associated with the claim occurs, the status of the claim changes and the API is provided with updated information indicative of the change). The platform includes a customized user interface (UI) that tailors the claim experience to a particular user's needs. The customization can be based off of stated user preferences and/or learned user preferences associated with the user's past behavior. A user can perform/request various services through the customized UI's self-service function (e.g., rent a car, find a hotel room, select a repair shop, etc.). Additionally, the customized UI can enable the user upload documents, track claim status, find relevant help topics, etc.

  • Patent number: 11936702
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for presenting media streams based on changes in geolocation. A MapView system may receive a first positioning signal indicating a first geographical location of a user device. The MapView system may determine a first media stream to be presented by the user device based on the first geographical location and a location of a source of the first media stream. The MapView system may then facilitate a presentation of the first media stream by the user device. When the MapView system receives a second positioning signal indicating a second geographical location of the user device, the MapView may identify, a second media stream to be presented by the user device based on the second geographical location being in broadcast range of the second media stream. The MapView system may then facilitate a presentation of the second media stream by the user device.

  • Publication number: 20240088317
Abstract: Approaches for fabricating one-dimensional metallization for solar cells, and the resulting solar cells, are described. In an example, a solar cell includes a substrate having a back surface and an opposing light-receiving surface. A plurality of alternating N-type and P-type semiconductor regions is disposed in or above the back surface of the substrate and parallel along a first direction to form a one-dimensional layout of emitter regions for the solar cell. A conductive contact structure is disposed on the plurality of alternating N-type and P-type semiconductor regions. The conductive contact structure includes a plurality of metal lines corresponding to the plurality of alternating N-type and P-type semiconductor regions. The plurality of metal lines is parallel along the first direction to form a one-dimensional layout of a metallization layer for the solar cell.

  • Publication number: 20230383602
Abstract: For use as an accessory with a multi-purpose vehicle having enclosed and rooftop cargo storage, a ladder/ramp includes a pair of siderails and crossbars extending between the siderails. A plurality of panels are each rotatably mounted between the siderails adjacent to one of a plurality of the crossbars, with each panel selectively rotatable between a closed position substantially aligned with the siderails and an open position extending outwardly from the siderails. When the panels are in the closed position, the panels and the crossbars collectively form a substantially continuous surface between the siderails on which wheels can be rolled. When the panels are in the open position, the panels each form a step that may support at least about 250 pounds. The panels may snap into place when moved into the open or closed positions, to prevent inadvertent movement therefrom.
