  • Patent number: 11968187
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for a MILS HPC, data storage system (DSS) system architecture that incorporates a multi-crypto module (MCM) to provide end-to-end multi-independent level security (MILS) protection. Configuration of each MCM enables a high performance computing (HPC) resource to compute different security domains with the associated security level keys from a key/node manager. The HPC resource can be dynamically re-allocated to different security level domain(s) by the key/node manager. In one embodiment, the DSS stores encrypted data regardless of the domains.

  • Publication number: 20220355496
Abstract: A handheld grooming appliance includes a housing defining a handle, a head, and an interior space. The handheld grooming appliance further includes a grooming device operatively connected to a motor and supported by the head of the housing. The handheld grooming appliance also includes a magnetic coupling system configured to releasably attach the grooming device to the housing. The magnetic coupling system includes at least one first magnet located on the grooming device and at least one second magnet located on the housing. The first magnet and the second magnet provide an attractive force to secure the grooming device to the housing during operation of the handheld grooming appliance. The magnetic coupling system is arranged to allow selective detachment of the grooming device from the housing when a user applies a force greater than the attractive force between the first and second magnets.

  • Publication number: 20220213714
Abstract: A device for handling a door is provided, the door having a door handle which comprises a stem and a hand grip. The device includes a base unit and an extension unit. The base unit has a channel opening at a bottom section of the base unit, the channel being closed by a top section of the base unit. The channel is configured to receive at least one portion of the stem of the door handle so as to slip the base unit onto the door handle to connect the base unit to the door handle. The extension unit extends outwardly from the base unit and include a panel substantially parallel to the door, such that a force applied on the panel is transferred to the base unit, via the base unit to the door handle, and via the door handle to the door.

  • Patent number: 10094353
Abstract: A throttle body fuel injection system and method that is arranged to easily replace four-barrel carburetors includes a throttle body assembly with four main bores, each with a throttle plate and an associated fuel injector. Each injector feeds fuel into a circular fuel distribution ring via a fuel injection conduit, which introduces pressurized fuel into the air stream. The fuel distribution rings and bores have profiles that avoid constrictions for to prevent low pressure zones according to the Venturi effect. Fuel is injected through downward-facing outlets at or near the bottom end of the rings. The fuel injection rings are two-piece, each formed of an insert pressed into an outer housing. The insert includes axial grooves intervaled about its exterior circumference of insert that are joined by a circumferential groove formed about the insert. The grooves are in fluid communication with a conduit that supplies fuel from a fuel injector.

An ECU “feed forward” algorithm controls fuel injection as a function of the position of the idle air control valve.

  • Publication number: 20170105032
Abstract: A system and method for the management and maintenance of content delivery rights and the scope of content delivery rights for events in which the content may not be delivered to all areas in which the event content could be delivered. The system and method presents a visual view of a cloud-based “geographic truth” which presents a geographic representation of all geographic areas into which content delivery is to be suspended or blacked out. The system and method manages the definition, modification, and management of blacked out areas based upon input by stakeholders. Stakeholders have access to the geographic truth at any time and all changes and updates are made to a single site such that an up to date summary made be instantly viewed at any time.

  • Patent number: 5663810
Abstract: In a method of producing a digital half-tone representation of an original image, wherein the representation is constituted by an array of output cell values representing the colour content of pixels of the original image, cell values are determined for successive output cells, for which cell values have not previously been determined. An output cell value is generated with reference to an input cell value related to the colour content of a corresponding pixel in the original image, and any error values propagated from previous iterations. Where the output cell value satisfies a predetermined condition, the effective colour content of a neighbourhood of previously determined output cell values is determined by addressing a look-up table containing a single value for each neighbourhood. An error value constituted by the difference between the effective colour content and the corresponding input cell value is determined and propagated for use in subsequent iterations.

  • Patent number: 5629721
Abstract: A graphics display system comprises a monitor (5); a first frame store (1) for holding digital data defining the color content of an image to be displayed on the monitor; a second frame store (2) for holding an array of control data, there being a control data value corresponding to each pixel of the image in the first frame store; and a processor (6,10,3) to cause the monitor to display the image in the first frame store under control of the control data array. The processor (6,10,3) means is adapted to cause a moving contrast image to be mixed with the image from the first frame store (1) under control of the control data array.

  • Patent number: 5555475
Abstract: A method of generating an output device control signal having portions representing the content of pixels of an image including at least two types of image content, in which data defining the content of each pixel of the image at a lower, first resolution and a higher, second resolution are passed respectively through a pair of processing paths, one corresponding to each image content type. A binary control signal is generated from the first resolution data in the first path by applying a stochastic screen. The binary control signal resulting from the stochastic screen is adapted to conform with the data at the second resolution, and the output device control signal is generated by combining data from the two processing paths.
