More specifically, the present invention is directed to composites and multi-composites of a cellulosic honey comb filled with rigid polyurethane prefabricated core and a fiber reinforced material, either fibers or woven fibers selected from the group consisting of glass, polyester, carbon and aramid fibers as a mat or cloth saturated with a thermoset resin selected from the group consisting of catalyzed polyester, amine catalyzed epoxy, catalyzed vinyl ester and acid catalyzed furan resins.

  • Reusable mold for forming premolded pieces and a modular contained machine foundation

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to reusable molds which are used to mold various pieces including a modular contained machine foundation unit. Most pieces are molded as a hollow form which surrounds vertically extending reinforcement rods and is filled with a fortifying material to secure the hollow form to a slab. The hollow form is preferably made of an aggregate filled thermosetting resin which is a corrosion and chemical resistant material.

  • Reuseable mold for forming a hollow aggregate filled thermoset article

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a reuseable mold for casting a hollow form made of an aggregate filled thermosetting resin. The reuseable mold includes an outer mold, made from sheets of thermoplastic resin, and an inner mold, also made from sheets of thermoplastic resin, having a base with plugable opening(s) for connecting an air supply for popping the inner mold from the cast hollow form fabricated in the reuseable mold. The sheets are preferably 1" sheets of polyethylene.
