  • Patent number: 4167796
Abstract: A brush apparatus for the cleaning and polishing of a surface having the advantages of an elongated handle with two or more spaced-apart, raised elastomeric rings to stop the flow of cleaning liquid onto the handle and onto the hand of the user. The head of the brush is tapered and holds an abrasive-resistant foam or bristle rubbing pad to ease the removal of spots that otherwise would be difficult to clean. The ends of the bristles of the brush are feathered to allow for greater pickup of dirt when used dry and for the gentle cleaning of large areas when wet.
