    Abstract: A gun case for a target rifle also serves as a collapsible portable shooter's bench. The bench has three detachable legs and three sockets or mounts on each side, permitting the shooter's bench to be set up for the right handed or left handed shooters. A gun rest for supporting the rifle fits into a socket or sleeve in the case. The case is equipped with locks to secure it when being stored or transported.
