Publication number: 20160222676Abstract: A flooring system is constructed on a base. The flooring system includes a permeable barrier layer, a porous underlayment, an impermeable sealing layer, and a flooring. The barrier layer is configured to cover the base. The underlayment overlies the barrier layer, with the barrier layer preventing binding of the underlayment to the base while permitting fluid to pass between the base and underlayment. The underlayment presents a top face, and the sealing layer coats the top face of the underlayment. The flooring is fixed relative to the top face of the underlayment.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 6, 2016Publication date: August 4, 2016Applicant: Track Renovations, Inc.Inventors: Michael L. Dixon, Richard L. Dixon, Benjaman M. Dixon

Patent number: 6090438Abstract: A method of applying an athletic mat to a base surface comprises the steps of spreading a layer of rubber particles on the base surface. Although there may be some preparation (e.g., cleaning, material removal, etc.) of the base surface before the first layer of rubber particles is spread thereon, the first layer of rubber particles is applied without the necessity of a tack coating or primer layer. A first layer of binder is applied over the previously spread layer of rubber particles, with the binder having a viscosity to at least partially permeate through the layer of rubber particles. Accordingly, the first layer of rubber particles is bonded to the underlying surface when the first layer of binder dries. A separate, second layer of binder is applied over the first layer of binder preferably while the latter is still wet.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 1998Date of Patent: July 18, 2000Assignee: Track Renovations and Coatings, Inc.Inventor: Richard L. Patent number: 5868885Abstract: A method for manufacturing cutting tools having diamond-like cutting edges or surfaces which are formed by bonding high shear compaction diamond or cubic boron nitride (CBN) ropes or strips in helical grooves formed on the cutting tool outer surface. The strips are formed by slitting a sheet of high shear compaction diamond or CBN material. The ropes are formed by rolling the strips between grooved rollers.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 1997Date of Patent: February 9, 1999Assignee: Smith International, Inc.Inventors: Ronald B. Patent number: 4858889Abstract: A hand tool adjusts the camber of a wheel assembly on a front-end drive vehicle including a vertically disposed spring-loaded strut portion located between a partition or fender apron and a front-wheel. The tool includes an elongated handle section, a fulcrum section and a wheel assembly contacting section. The wheel assembly contacting section includes a strut portion bearing surface transversely disposed at an outer end of a bearing surface support which projects outwardly from a first side and at one end of the fulcrum section. The elongated handle section is connected to the fulcrum section at a location laterally spaced from the bearing surface support and projects outwardly from the first side of the fulcrum section. The handle, fulcrum and wheel assembly contacting sections are substantially disposed in a common plane. The fulcrum section includes a fulcrum bearing surface on a second side of the fulcrum section opposite the first side thereof.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 1988Date of Patent: August 22, 1989Inventor: Richard L.
