Abstract: A method and system of analyzing data using bitmap techniques by first transforming source data records to key-value pairs, then selecting required attributes within said data source to create bitmap segments that are associated to the attribute's corresponding data records, where data analyses are performed by mean of formulating and executing required Set (or bit-wise) operations among the required bitmap segments to generate a final result bitmap segment, and based on which retrieving the corresponding result set of data records and perform further analyses by applying statistical and/or user-defined functions on the result set to generate the required result.
