  • Adhesive closure flap with protective liner and detachable tab

    Abstract: An envelope closure having a flap with a detachable tab. Adhesive transfer tape is applied to the flap and tab, thus enabling adhesive and a protective liner to be applied in a single step. The tab may be separated from the flap, providing a convenient handhold for removing the protective liner.
