    Abstract: A system uses range and Doppler velocity measurements from a lidar system and images from a video system to estimate a six degree-of-freedom trajectory (6DOF) of a target. The 6DOF transformation parameters are used to transform multiple images to the frame time of a selected image, thus obtaining multiple images at the same frame time. These multiple images may be used to increase a resolution of the image at each frame time, obtaining the collection of the superresolution images.

    Abstract: An apparatus which accurately maps and detects contaminants within interior surfaces is provided. The apparatus finds use in supporting decontamination operations by providing on-site chemical analyses defining the condition of contaminated areas and monitoring the progress of clean-up operations. An optical vision system is used to accurately map the surface to be investigated or treated as a reference. Analytical probes are used to sample the mapped surface to detect inorganic and organic contaminants in situ. Automated controls which manipulate the analytical probes and high speed analytical equipment, such as a high speed gas chromatograph, are optionally used to take large numbers of samples quickly and remotely. The optical vision system tracks the position of the analytical probes, providing an accurate map of the location of the contaminants.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for classifying broadcast information first receives the broadcast information and processes it to provide a plurality of a low bandwidth analyzed waveforms. The analyzed waveforms are used to generate a spectragram which is then compared with a plurality of reference spectragrams stored in a first stage reference library. The first stage reference spectragrams are then queued in order of their similarity to the generated spectragram. Next, a plurality of second stage reference patterns, which correspond to the first stage reference spectragrams, are correlated with one of the analyzed waveforms in the queueing order established previously. A correlation value is provided for each second stage reference pattern stored in the second stage reference library.
