Abstract: A paper product that is applied with a water-soluble lotion composition is provided. In one embodiment of the present invention, the lotion composition includes water in an amount up to about 90% by weight of said lotion composition, a water-soluble skin-conditioning component in an amount up to about 75% by weight of said lotion composition, a viscosity modifier component in an amount up to about 10% by weight of said lotion composition, and an optional liquid-coupling component in an amount up to about 60% by weight of said lotion composition. Typically, the add-on level of the lotion composition is between about 1% to about 25% by weight of the paper product. As a result, the paper product can be used to dry the hands of a user, while also imparting certain benefits to the skin as well.

Abstract: Multipurpose cleaning articles are provided comprising a porous cleaning sheet containing an aqueous cleaning composition comprising (a) water as the major component; (b) 5% to 45% by weight water-immiscible solvent; (c) less than about 1.8% by weight emulsifier; and wherein the aqueous cleaning composition has a vertical wicking rate of about 1 cm/minute or more. The porous cleaning sheet can comprise any one of numerous materials, including hydrophobic materials, such as nonwoven webs, textile fabrics, foams and so forth. The cleaning articles are capable of removing water insoluble materials from various surfaces and including cleaning the skin and hands as well as hard surfaces.

Abstract: The disclosure describes a commode liner made from a first and a second opposing member defining a top with an opening, a bottom, and a pair of opposing sides. The pair of opposing sides includes a separation distance D, which varies from the top to the bottom, and the distance D is larger at the top than at the bottom. The opposing members can be formed from a latently dispersible barrier composite material including an exposed low strength barrier component, an internal water sensitive layer, and a water permeable, inextensible, water dispersible support layer. When exposed to aqueous conditions on the barrier side, the composite prevents it from passing through to the other layers. When exposed to aqueous conditions on the opposite side, the commode liner readily disperses and may be disposed of by flushing in a toilet, for example. Examples of barrier layers include polylactic acid. Examples of water sensitive layers include polyvinyl alcohol.

Abstract: An aqueous, antimicrobial liquid cleaning formulation including: 1) a polymeric deposition aid composed of a mixture of liquid, hydroxyl-terminated urethane polymers in polyethylene glycol; 2) a phenol derivative antimicrobial agent; and 3) a surfactant system comprising predominantly nonionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants or combinations thereof such that the liquid cleaning formulation provides at least about 10 percent greater antimicrobial activity than the same formulation without the polymeric deposition aid.
