  • Patent number: 11944531
Abstract: Devices, systems and/or methods for repairing soft tissue adjacent a soft tissue repair site. In one embodiment, a repair device configured to couple to soft tissue is provided. The repair device includes a capture portion and an anchor portion. The capture portion configured to extend with radial portions. The anchor portion includes a base with multiple legs extending therefrom. The multiple legs are configured to move from a linear position to a formed position such that, in the formed position, the multiple legs couple to structure of the capture portion.

  • Publication number: 20230214849
Abstract: A landscape carbon calculator system including a downloadable web application user interface for installation on network connectable devices, and a server computer programmed with computer-readable and computer-usable and executable code stored in a tangible medium to be accessible by users through the web application. The server computer is programmed with executable code and is configured to calculate the estimated carbon emissions associated with the construction of a landscape design and how long the proposed design will take to sequester the carbon emitted to build the design, thereby enabling users to determine the ecological impact of a landscape design and/or build prior to construction and to assess actual vs. projected emissions used during and after construction.

  • Patent number: 11669519
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, computer program-product, and system for generating predicate-weighted histograms in a database management system. Further, the methods, computer program-products and systems in accordance with the present invention generate histograms that are biased towards the predicate literals of the queries that are submitted to the database management system. The resulting histograms will improve query performance by generating histograms with greater resolution near predicate literals that represent the queries submitted to the database management system.

  • Patent number: 6454540
Abstract: A liquid injection arrangement for inserting a foaming agent into water for a fire fighting application, or a similar use, requires that metered quantities of a liquid chemical foamant or other agent be injected into a conduit assembly conveying a water stream. A desired concentration of foamant requires varying the foamant flow as a function of water flow. A tank holds a quantity of liquid chemical foamant, and at least one pump has an inlet port coupled to the tank and an outlet port coupled to the conduit assembly. A hydraulic motor drives the pump and a valve is coupled with the hydraulic motor and a source of pressurized hydraulic fluid. A sensor is placed adjacent to the outlet port of the pump to feed back a signal representing the pressure of the water flowing through the conduit assembly, and a control system is responsive to the signal and to a flow rate of water flowing through the conduit assembly, producing a signal for controlling a speed at which the hydraulic motor drives the foamant pump.

  • Patent number: 4962534
Abstract: A frequency diversity receiver system operating over a predetermined bandwidth comprising a first mixer receiving two identical information signals widely separated in frequency, a stepping oscillator with a predetermined number of steps controlling the output frequency of said mixer, two frequency channels at the output of said mixer, the first of said channels having a broad bandwidth filter and the second having a narrow bandwidth filter, a second mixer receiving simultaneously the output of said second filter and the output signal of a sweeping oscillator, said sweeping oscillator having a preselected sweep, means to synchronize said sweeping oscillator and said stepping oscillator, a multiplier simultaneously receiving the output signals from said first filter and said second mixer, a bank of parallel filters and associated detectors receiving the output signals from said multiplier, each of said filters of said bank having a predetermined bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 4169993
Abstract: A receiver for detecting a double side-band noise like signal, in which the receiver is swept over a defined RF spectrum of interest, a phase inversion of the double side band signal is provided and multiplied with the received double side-band noise-like signal to produce an IF signal, and correlation circuitry is provided to produce an output whereby the presence of the double side-band noise like signal is detected, and controls the stopping of the sweep at said detection.
