  • Publication number: 20040031019
Abstract: A debugger utility allows a graphically or visually created application program to be run in a debug mode. The graphically created program includes a block diagram that, in turn, has plurality of icons. The icons have pins thereby allowing the icons to be interconnected by one or more wire constructs. Using the debugger utility, the developer can insert a break point on any icon, pin or wire construct, preferably through graphical inputs. During execution, the debugger utility automatically pauses the application program when the inserted break points are reached. The debugger utility also changes the appearance of the block diagram during execution in debug mode to illustrate the program's execution sequence. One or more tools are provided that permit the developer to examine the state of the application program, including variable values, while it is being executed in debug mode.

  • Patent number: 4413015
Abstract: A resin is provided which is the adduct of a monocarboxylic acid and a diglycidyl ether of a bisphenol, or of a monocarboxylic acid, a bisphenol, and a diglycidyl ether of a bisphenol, reacted with an anhydride to an Acid No. of 35 to 150. This resin is solubilized with a volatile amine, ammonia, or NH.sub.4 OH in a solvent mixture of water, alkoxyethanols, alcohols, and alkyl ethers of diethylene glycol and combined with an aminoplast to produce a coating composition utilizable to coat surfaces that will contact a food or beverage, such as in metal packaging containers.

  • Patent number: 3985695
Abstract: A water reducible epoxy ester is prepared by reacting an epoxy resin, preferably a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A, and a monofunctional epoxy, such as phenyl glycidyl ether, with a dibasic acid (e.g., azelaic acid) followed by reaction with trimellitic anhydride and neutralization of free carboxyl groups. This material is dispersed in an aqueous vehicle, applied to a metal substrate and baked.

  • Patent number: 3956215
Abstract: Water-soluble acidic polyesters are prepared by reacting a hydroxy polycarboxylic acid, such as citric acid, with an alkylene oxide, such as propylene oxide, an alkylene glycol, or styrene oxide and polyesterifying to an acid number of about theoretical to about 25% above theoretical. A thermosetting coating comprises the acidic polyester and a conventional aminoplast in an aqueous vehicle. When the coating is applied to a substrate, such as label stock, and is thermoset, a durable high gloss varnish is produced.
