  • Patent number: 11861013
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the classification of identified security vulnerabilities in software applications, and their triage based on automated decision-tree triage and/or machine learning. The disclosed system may generate a report listing detected potential vulnerability issues, and automatically determine whether the potential vulnerability issues are exploitable using automated triage policies containing decision trees or by extracting vulnerability features from the report and processing the extracted vulnerability features using machine learning models.

  • Patent number: 11692684
Abstract: A filtering assembly for enhancing lighting from a luminaire serves as a lighting filter that includes one or more stackable and interchangeable filter devices. The filter devices are configured to detachably couple to a luminaire, and custom block a portion of the light transmitted from the luminaire. This enables a uniquely shaped transmission of light and/or removing unwanted spills and or glare emanating from the luminaire. The filter devices comprise a body that defines a clear section that allows full passage of light from the underlying luminaire, and an opaque section that allows partial or no passage of light. The filter devices also comprise an outer rim having a friction enhancing material that enables a snug engagement with the perimeter recess forming in the luminaire. The friction enhancing material of the outer rim restricts slippage when stacking multiple filter devices, and with the inside perimeter recess formed in the luminaire.

  • Patent number: 11568057
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the classification of identified security vulnerabilities in software applications, and their automated triage based on machine learning. The disclosed system may generate a report listing detected potential vulnerability issues, and extract features from the report for each potential vulnerability issue. The system may receive policy data and business rules, and compare the extracted features relative to such data and rules. The system may determine a token based on the source code of a potential vulnerability issue, and a vector based on the extracted features of a potential vulnerability issue and based on the token. The system may select a machine learning modelling method and/or an automated triaging method based on the vector, and determine a vulnerability accuracy score based on the vector using the selected method.

  • Patent number: 11106801
Abstract: A device may receive contextual data, computational data, experiential data, and industry data associated with software code, and may receive detected vulnerabilities data identified by a scanning model based on the software code and software code metadata of the computational data. The device may process the contextual data, the computational data, and the experiential data, with a contextual identification model, to determine a set of rules and a set of actions, and may enrich, via an enrichment model, the industry data with the experiential data to generate enriched industry data. The device may process the software code metadata, the detected vulnerabilities data, and the enriched industry data, with a correlation model, to generate analysis data, and may process the analysis data and the set of rules, with a security model, to confirm security issues associated with the software code. The device may perform one of the set of actions based on the security issues.

  • Publication number: 20080014897
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing power to e.g., a chargeable device via a radio frequency link. In one aspect, a method of providing power to a chargeable device via radio frequency link comprises generating a substantially un-modulated signal. The method further comprises radiating a substantially un-modulated radio frequency (RF) signal to the chargeable device via a transmit antenna based on the substantially un-modulated signal. The method further comprises powering or charging the chargeable device with power delivered by the substantially un-modulated RF signal.

  • Publication number: 20070222746
Abstract: A gestural input system provides an intuitive man-machine interface that converts human locomotion in free space, independent of fiducials and references surfaces to data that may be processed by a controller. A gestural input translates movement of a human and/or manipulation of a device in free space to data or signals for navigating digital content such as a 2D or 3D virtual or augmented reality.

  • Publication number: 20070199074
Abstract: Theft, distribution, and piracy of digital content (software, video, audio, e-books, any content of any kind that is digitally stored and distributed) is generally accomplished by copying it, if possible, or, if it is protected from being copied in any fashion, such piracy is based upon a number of reverse engineering techniques. Aside from the straightforward copying of unprotected content, all of these other methods require first an understanding of the protective mechanism(s) guarding the content, and finally an unauthorized modification of that protection in order to disable or subvert it. Methods that prevent a skilled individual from using reverse engineering tools and techniques to attain that level of understanding and/or prevent anyone from performing such modifications can offer significant advantages to content creators who wish to protect their products.

  • Publication number: 20060255576
Abstract: A vehicle safety device includes a seat mounted within a passenger compartment of the vehicle, in which the seat is movably connected to a vehicle frame by a seat position adjusting mechanism that allows the seat to move along an axis between a forward-most position and a rearward-most position. An air-bag is mounted within the passenger compartment in front of the forward-most position of the seat, with the forward-most position of the seat defined as a position of the seat in which a distance between a passenger seated in the seat and the air-bag is equal to a minimum safe clearance.

  • Publication number: 20050108538
Abstract: A method and system for authenticating a digital optical medium, such as a CD-ROM, determine whether the medium is an unauthorized copy, or the original. The original media is created, or altered, so as to contain anomalous locations from which the transfer of data is accomplished at different rates than a standard digital copy would exhibit. One implementation of the process involves timing analysis of the differences in data transfer rates. Another implementation involves the determination of digital signatures during multiple read operations performed on a data segment. The process can be employed in systems that control access to unauthorized copies, or may be used for other informative purposes.
