Abstract: Product for cleaning windshield wiper blades which includes a single use packaged cleansing unit including a sheet or towelette of liquid absorbant material impregnated with a windshield wiper cleaning liquid and enclosed in a sealed, tearable, gas-tight envelope. The cleaning liquid contains an aqueous solution of ammonium hydroxide which is of a concentration between 0.1N and 3N, the ammonium hydroxide solution making up between 10% and 50% of the liquid by volume; acetone making up between 30% and 80% of the liquid by volume; and an alcohol having 1-5 carbon atoms, inclusive, the alcohol making up between 2% and 50% of the liquid by volume.
