Abstract: The present invention relates to a safety platform having a large platform with a high friction surface. Surrounding and supporting the platform are four legs. Located at the upper ends of the legs are two lateral guard rails and a front guard rail. The rear of the platform is open for user entry. The rear legs have longitudinal slots to accommodate a linkage extending from each rear corner of the platform to the rear of each lateral guard rail. The user may fully fold the safety platform by lifting the rear of the platform, thereby causing the invention to fold to a relatively narrow configuration for easy storage.
