  • Publication number: 20080060483
Abstract: A wrench tool is described which comprises an orifice that is formed to control the rotation of a hexagonal work piece. The orifice is substantially cylindrical and comprises an array of eighteen principle longitudinal grooves positioned therein substantially forming a symmetrical pattern around an imaginary central axis. The eighteen grooves are formed and spaced apart so as to create an array of eighteen principle longitudinal protuberances. The protuberances substantially form a symmetrical pattern around the imaginary central axis for engagement with the work piece. And, the protuberances are spaced apart by predetermined dimensions, and each protuberance has a predetermined height to length ratio.

  • Publication number: 20070151425
Abstract: A tool device is described which comprises an orifice which has at least one engagement end formed to control the rotation of a work piece. The tool device has a peripheral terminal end at the engagement end. The orifice is defined by an inner wall of alternating recessed regions and engagement regions arranged about an imaginary central axis. The recessed regions and engagement regions extend longitudinally and substantially parallel to the imaginary central axis. And, at least a part of each engagement region extends farther towards the peripheral terminal end of the tool device than at least a part of each recessed region.

  • Publication number: 20070044595
Abstract: A wrench tool is described which comprises an orifice that is formed to control the rotation of a hexagonal work piece. The orifice is substantially cylindrical and includes an array of only eighteen principle longitudinal grooves positioned therein that substantially form a symmetrical pattern around an imaginary central axis. The eighteen grooves are formed and spaced apart so as to create an array of only eighteen principle longitudinal protuberances which also substantially form a symmetrical pattern around the imaginary central axis for engagement with the work piece. The protuberances are positioned apart relative to each other by predetermined distances whereas the least distance between any eight adjacent protuberances is less than the least distance between any ten adjacent protuberances.

  • Publication number: 20060272457
Abstract: A wrench tool is described which comprises an orifice configured to control the rotation of a hexagonal work piece. The orifice is substantially cylindrical and comprises an array of only eighteen principle longitudinal grooves positioned therein substantially forming a symmetrical pattern around an imaginary central axis. The eighteen grooves are formed and spaced apart so as to create an array of only eighteen principle longitudinal protuberances. The protuberances substantially form a symmetrical pattern around the imaginary central axis for engagement with the hexagonal work piece. Each protuberance is formed having at least two engaging surfaces positioned together in at least partial alignment with a predetermined engaging angle. The engaging surfaces may be flat, arcuate, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060174731
Abstract: A wrench tool is described comprising an orifice which has a predetermined geometry for controlling the rotation of a hexagonal work piece. The orifice is substantially cylindrical and comprises an array of only eighteen longitudinal grooves positioned therein. The grooves form a symmetrical pattern around an imaginary central axis. The grooves are formed and spaced apart so as to create an array of only eighteen longitudinal protuberances. The protuberances form a symmetrical pattern around the imaginary central axis for engagement with the work piece. In one embodiment, the protuberances are positioned apart relative to each other and to the imaginary central axis by predetermined dimensions.

  • Publication number: 20060148321
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a wall plate formed to cover a wall box is described. The wall plate comprises a back side which has a signal splitting device with a first coupling member formed and exposed for connectability with an antenna or cable wire device transferring an incoming signal. The signal splitting device is configured to split the incoming signal into at least two outgoing signals. The signal splitting device has a second coupling member formed and exposed at the backside for connectability with an antenna or cable wire device to transfer one of the at least two outgoing signals. And, the wall plate has a front side which has a third coupling member formed and exposed for connectability with an antenna or cable wire device to transfer one of the at least two outgoing signals. The third coupling member connects to and is a part of the signal splitting device.

  • Publication number: 20050217439
Abstract: The present invention involves an adjustable type plier tool comprising a first tool member pivotably attached to a second tool member. Each tool member has a handle portion, and a head portion comprising a jaw. The first tool member has a slot, and the second tool member has a pin attached thereto for interaction with the slot of the first tool member. The head portion of the first tool member has a distinct outer shape when the plier tool is viewed from a side view thereof. The distinct outer shape comprises a first section, a second section and a third section with the second section positioned between the first and third sections. The first section has a substantially convex curved outer shape, and the second section has a substantially concave curved outer shape, and, the third section has a substantially convex curved outer shape so as to provide the adjustable plier tool with excellent jaw engagement accessibility.

  • Publication number: 20050132849
Abstract: A double-ended wrench is described comprising a wrench head positioned at one end thereof having a first orifice formed for engagement with various fasteners. The first orifice has an across-width dimension and a depth dimension and an imaginary central axis of wrench rotation. The across-width dimension is generally greater than the depth dimension. There is a first handle portion connected to the wrench head. The first handle portion is elongated in a predetermined longitudinal direction, and has a cross-sectional shape and a defined minimum cross-sectional thickness when viewed in a cross-sectional plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The cross-sectional shape of the first handle portion is elongated in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of wrench rotation of the first orifice. And, there is a second handle portion connected at the other end of the wrench.

  • Publication number: 20050000326
Abstract: A hand operable wrench is described which comprises a wrench head at one end thereof, and a substantially metallic lever formed as a handle extending in a longitudinal direction from the wrench head. The wrench head has an imaginary axis of wrench rotation, and the handle is formed substantially nontwisted comprising a first handle portion, a second handle portion and a third handle portion. The first handle portion connects to the wrench head, and the second handle portion is longitudinally positioned between the first and third handle portions. The first and third handle portions each have a cross-sectional shape when viewed in a cross-sectional plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
