The ice and/or water dispenser apparatus has at least one electronically controlled valve, which can be used to adjust the throughflow of water. A pressure reducer is disposed upstream of the electronically controlled valve in the flow direction of the water, and can be used to adjust the pressure of the water, as a result of which the water at an inlet of the electronically controlled valve has an entry pressure of less than 4 bar. A method for operating a household refrigeration appliance is also provided.
