  • Patent number: 11967361
Abstract: One example of the present disclosure includes performing a comparison operation in memory using a logical representation of a first value stored in a first portion of a number of memory cells coupled to a sense line of a memory array and a logical representation of a second value stored in a second portion of the number of memory cells coupled to the sense line of the memory array. The comparison operation compares the first value to the second value, and the method can include storing a logical representation of a result of the comparison operation in a third portion of the number of memory cells coupled to the sense line of the memory array.

  • Publication number: 20210346559
Abstract: Systems and methods using EMR and other directed energies emitted at surfaces, objects and body parts, to kill, neutralize, eliminate, remove or otherwise treat or influence objects, species, dirt, weeds, worms, pests, bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, other pathogens and other organic and inorganic matter from target surfaces are disclosed. One embodiment includes selecting an at least one first set of parameters of directed energy, wherein the at least one first set of parameters may include one or more of a wavelength, frequency, amplitude, duration, acceleration, deceleration, pulsation, and pulsation period; emitting the directed energy based on the selected at least one first set of parameters at a target surface; measuring in real-time the temperature of the target surface; and pausing the emitting of directed energy once a trigger occurs. This process may be repeated with different sets of parameters and directed energies and carried out in series or simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20050273668
Abstract: A method and system for monitoring and managing distributed services in a network. The method involves instantiating a managed peer, a context instance, and a managed service at an edge computing node. The managed peer, the context instance, and the managed service are instrumented and registered with a monitoring server. The method continues with establishing a monitor for the managed peer, the context instance, and the managed service and monitoring during runtime one or more values of the monitor. The method includes modifying the managed peer, the context, and/or the managed service based on the values of the monitors. The method includes caching advertisements of services available from other managed peers in the context, searching the cache for available services or resources, and requesting one or more of the advertised services from managed peers local or remote to the edge computing node.

  • Patent number: 6276743
Abstract: A power latching mechanism having a latch ratchet, a pawl member, a latch sector and a drive assembly. The latch ratchet is configured to selectively engage or disengage a member to secure the vehicle door to or release the vehicle door from the vehicle body. The latch ratchet is operable between a fully unlatched position and a fully latched position. The latch sector is pivotably coupled to the latch ratchet and is operable between a first extended position, a neutral position and a second extended position. The drive assembly is coupled to the latch sector and operable for selectively moving the latch sector from the neutral position to the first and second extended positions. Placement of the latch sector in the neutral position does not effect the operation the latch ratchet. Accordingly, the latch ratchet may be actuated manually to either latch or unlatch the vehicle door when the latch sector is in the returned position.

The liftgate is mounted to a body of the motor vehicle for articulation about a horizontally extending pivot axis. The drive arrangement includes a mounting member for attachment to the body of the motor vehicle. A drive motor is attached to the mounting member. A first gear is ultimately driven by the drive motor. A crank arm is pivotally interconnected to the mounting member. The crank arm includes a second gear in meshing relationship with the first gear. The second gear is preferably a sector gear having a plurality of teeth formed on a concavely curved surface thereof. A linkage has a first end attached to the crank arm and a second end for attachment to the liftgate.
