Abstract: A visual display device including a plurality of stacked display layers displaying a plurality of objects. A first reflective surface is positioned at an angle to the plurality of stacked display layers, and projects a first subset of objects in a first direction towards a viewer. The first subset of objects is projected as if originating from a first focal attentional region comprising a first plurality of object planes. A second reflective surface is positioned at the angle to the first plurality of stacked display layers. The first and second reflective surfaces are approximately parallel to each other. The second reflective surface projects a second subset of objects in the first direction towards the viewer. The second subset of objects is projected as if originating from a second focal attentional region comprising a second plurality of object planes.
