  • Publication number: 20140214759
Abstract: The present disclosure concerns computing systems of financial institutions and computing systems that interact and support functions of financial institutions, including the exchange of documents between two users of the system. When implemented as a computer the computer provides access for a user to a document. The computer receives from a sending party document data and a user identifier and determines a document identifier and the receiving financial institution. The computer then sends to a receiving financial institution the document identifier and the user identifier causing the receiving financial institution to display information related to the document identifier to the user such that the user can request the document. The computer then receives from the receiving financial institution a request from the user for the document. The computer determines a document reference and a document storage provider and provides access to the document.

  • Publication number: 20140214656
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to computing systems that support payments between two users. When implemented as a computer, the computer facilitates P2P payment. The computer receives from a payee or a payee FI a payment request. The payment request includes a payer identifier, a payee identifier and payment information. The computer then determines a payer FI and sends the payment request to the payer FI to cause the payer FI to notify the payer of the payment request and to enable the payer to confirm the payment. The computer receives from the payer FI a payment notification for the payment and sends the payment notification to the payee FI. The payer and the payee are not required to open a new account at a third party system but funds are transferred directly from the payer FI to the payee FI.

  • Publication number: 20140214678
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to computing systems that support authorization of payments to online merchants. The computer receives from the merchant or a financial institution of the merchant (merchant FI) a payment request. The computer determines a customer FI and sends the payment request to the customer FI to cause the customer FI to send to the customer an authorization code. The computer then receives an authorization request associated with the payment having the authorization code as provided by the customer to the merchant. The computer determines the customer FI and sends the authorization request to the customer FI to cause the customer FI to verify the authorization code. In reply the computer receives from the customer FI an authorization confirmation for the payment and sends the authorization confirmation to the merchant or merchant FI.

  • Publication number: 20140089156
Abstract: The disclosure concerns computing systems of financial institutions and computing systems that interact and support functions of financial institutions, including porting of addresses between financial institutions. When implemented as a computer, the computer enables, in communication with a network the association of a user identifier with a gaining financial institution (FI), wherein the user identifier is associated with an original FI. The computer receives from the gaining FI a request to associate the user identifier with the gaining FI. The computer then sends to the original FI the request. In response, the computer receives from the original FI a confirmation of the request and stores in computer storage a change in the association of the user identifier from the original FI to the gaining FI. As a result, a user can change accounts and FIs without having to also change the user identifier.
