  • Patent number: 10227800
Abstract: Enclosure comprises a plurality of bar members translatably attached to an interior surface of the door of the enclosure. Each of the plurality of bar members comprises a projection. A plurality of blocks are disposed on a peripheral edge of the opening of the enclosure's body, such that there is a corresponding block for each projection, and wherein each of the plurality of blocks define a channel for receiving and engaging its corresponding projection. When actuated in a first member, an actuator causes each of the plurality of bar members to translate between a first position and a second position. When the door is in a closed position, translation of the bar members to the first position causes each projection to engage with the channel of its corresponding block to thereby hold the door in the closed position. Translation of the plurality of bar members to the second position causes each projection to be translated out of engagement with its corresponding block such that the door can be opened.

  • Publication number: 20190060756
Abstract: A method, system, computer readable media and cloud systems are provided for generating views of a virtual reality environment for a spectator. One example method includes enabling a spectator to view into a virtual reality environment, and control what specific content within the environment the spectator wishes to see. By allowing the spectator to move closer or further away from specific content, the spectators movement toward or away will cause an automatic scaling of content within the virtual-reality content being generated by an HMD player, that is sharing the content with the spectator. Other features include allowing a spectator to adjust the viewing angle of the content. The viewing angle of the content can be moved by allowing the spectator to reach into the content or control the content scene, and then position the content in the viewing angle that is most comfortable to the position of the spectator.

  • Publication number: 20190025852
Abstract: A method and apparatus for dimensioning an object carried by an automated pallet mover is disclosed. An example includes an image sensor configured to capture image data representative of a dimensioning area. A dimensioning coordinator is remotely located from an automated transportation system capable of moving the automated pallet mover. The dimensioning coordinator detects a dimensioning trigger condition associated with the pallet mover and sends first instructions to the automated transportation system to move the vehicle to the dimensioning area, and second instructions to coordinate movement of the vehicle and image capture operation to perform dimensioning on the object.

  • Publication number: 20180359405
Abstract: A method and apparatus for synchronizing image frame capture timing for a plurality of fixed-frame rate image sensors having the same frame rate is disclosed. An example includes a processing system connected to image sensors in a venue for capturing image frames and determining a capture offset for each image sensor, against a common, independent time base. The processing system determines when the capture offset of any of the image sensors is above a threshold offset value and, in response, a restart signal is sent to the image sensor to restart the image sensor for capturing images within the venue at another capture offset. The process will continue for that image sensor until the image sensor has a capture offset within below an acceptable threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20180305561
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method of applying a coating to an external surface of a man-made object to be at least partly immersed in water (e.g. a vessel or an offshore drilling station) for a time period wherein there is relative movement between the immersed object and the water. The applied coating has a minimal resistance rating for a set of coatings. The method comprises a computer-implemented coating selection process, which comprises a first steps of obtaining, for each coating in the set of coatings, a total roughness value of the external surface based on a fouling roughness value, a macro roughness value and a micro roughness value associated with each coating. The coating selection process comprises in a second step selecting a coating from the set of coatings, wherein the selected coating has a minimal resistance rating associated with the obtained total roughness value for the time period. The method further comprises applying the selected coating to the external surface of the man-made object.
