  • Patent number: 11090443
Abstract: A single-use cover assembly that obscures a substantial majority or an entirety of an injection needle from view before, during, and after an injection procedure. The cover assembly includes a housing and a needle sleeve that retracts and extends by sliding axially within the housing. The needle sleeve carries a locking collar that moves from a first position to a second position once the needle sleeve is fully retracted. In the first position the locking collar allows retraction of the needle sleeve from a fully extended position. In the second position, a portion of the locking collar covers a tip of the needle, thereby preventing retraction of the needle sleeve from the fully extended position.

  • Publication number: 20040226962
Abstract: A free-standing or wall-mounted dispenser and system for automatically dispensing liquid, includes a base, which may be shaped so that the dispenser remains free of dispensed liquid, and may include a removable tray to catch accidentally or residually dispensed liquid. The dispenser generates an infrared signal in the proximity of the dispenser's spigot. A user's hand, or other object, intersects the infrared signal and causes the unit to dispense liquid. The dispenser accepts a DC power source, and includes an on-off switch, which can be switched off for refilling, moving or cleaning the dispenser, and prolonging battery life. A disposable liquid cartridge in the form of a bag or bottle with a valve can be incorporated into the system, together with a master switch disabling the dispenser until an acceptable keyed cartridge is properly inserted.

  • Patent number: 5135440
Abstract: A child's water toy comprises a pool which has inflatable (with either air or water) sides with a floor extending between them. One or a number of applique accessories may be heat sealed to the bottom or the sides of the pool. Exemplary of these applique accessories are slides, floating animal figurines, and the like. Bobbing accessories are counter balanced accessories which may either float upright to be a playmate for the child or bob over to become a float on which the child may ride. The bobbing toy may have articulated joints which make it appear to change its shape depending upon whether it is standing upright or lying down. Still other accessories are scenery in the nature of trees, islands, vines, or the like, which may shower or drip water.
