  • Patent number: 11841187
Abstract: Systems and methods can control refrigeration within a refrigerated freight container. Thermal sensor nodes can be positioned within the freight container. Temperature measurements can be wirelessly relayed from the sensor nodes to a gateway associated with the freight container. The received temperature measurements can be aggregated and logged at the gateway. Thermal models of the freight container and associated cargo loads can be established in response to the logged temperature measurements and loading plan for the foreign container. The refrigeration system can be controlled in response to processing the thermal models. The refrigeration system can be controlled to optimize compliance parameters associated with the cargo loads.

  • Patent number: 11183086
Abstract: Systems and methods can secure freight container seals using electronic sensors. A hardened sensor clamp housing can include one or more sensing portals. The sensor clamp housing can receive a bolt seal through each of the sensing portals. One or more seal sensors may be positioned proximate to the sensing portals to sense a physical characteristic of the inserted bolt seal. This characteristic may be electrical, optical, magnetic, or so forth. The seal sensors can generate an electrical signal associated with cutting or tampering with the inserted bolt seal. The electrical signal can be coupled to a sensor clamp module operable to determine a tamper state of the bolt seal in response to the associated electrical signal. The determined tamper state can be communicated via a sensor clamp wireless module to a container controller or communications gateway.

  • Patent number: 10680907
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing requests for access to one or more systems. One exemplary method includes receiving, through a request interface, a keyword associated with multiple roles and identifying one or more of the multiple roles consistent with the keyword, causing the identified role(s) to be displayed to the user at the communication device in the request interface, and, upon selection of one or more of the identified role(s) by the user, applying at least one access rule to the selected one or more of the identified role(s). The method then also includes issuing a notification to the user, at the request interface, when the selected one or more of the identified role(s) violates the at least one rule, where the notification indicates the violation and the at least one access rule, thereby permitting the user to select one or more different roles from the identified role(s).

  • Publication number: 20180022263
Abstract: A bracket for releasably securing a logistics bar within a trailer or containment vessel to help prevent shifting of freight during transport. The bracket comprises an elongate body having two or more hangers. The hangers are releasably securable to walls of the trailer or containment vessel to hang the bracket from one of the walls. The body has one or more slots therein that releasably receive an end of a logistics bar to permit the logistics bar to be releasably secured to the bracket. The bracket is securable at different locations along the wall of the trailer or containment vessel thereby permitting the positioning of the logistics bar within the trailer or containment vessel at a desired location.

  • Publication number: 20170064971
Abstract: Food processing methods and associated apparatuses are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a food processing method includes heating a meat product in an oven to a pasteurizing temperature of the meat product followed by drying the meat product at the oven temperature that is below the maximum oven temperature of the processing cycle. In another embodiment, the method includes heating a meat product in a continuous belt grill, followed by drying the meat product in a temperature/relative humidity controlled oven. By breaking the food processing method into at least two phases, the method can result in a shorter processing time with better control of the process end points.
