Abstract: A method and device for graphical interfacing between a user and an information system. The method includes introducing a user request in a client station, transmitting the request to a server, processing the request and generating an answer and transmitting the answer to the client station. The generated answer includes instruction data and displayable data, instruction data determining a useable visualization model is interpreted in the client station, the visualization model is formed in the client station by associating locally available construction elements and the displayable data together with the visualization model are merged in order to display a merging result. The method is used for producing a graphical user interface.
