  • Patent number: 9342145
Abstract: Certain embodiments provide a computer system for controlling the movement of a displayed cursor, the computer system comprising: a first display region; a second display region; a user input unit configured to measure movements made by a user in association with the user input unit and to output corresponding movement signaling; a vision tracking unit configured to determine a direction in which a user is looking and to output corresponding view-direction signaling; and a cursor control unit arranged to select one of the first display region and the second display region as a selected display region based on the view-direction signaling associated with the vision tracking unit and to control a cursor to move within the selected display region based on the movement signaling associated with the user input unit.

  • Patent number: 9196091
Abstract: A method of displaying images representative of image data includes providing a user interface for displaying a three-dimensional (3D) image and at least one two-dimensional (2D) image, setting a volumetric field of view for the 3D image, setting a respective further field of view for the at least one 2D image, and linking the volumetric field of view and the at least one further field of view so that a movement of the volumetric field of view of the 3D image automatically causes a corresponding movement of the further field of view of the at least one 2D image, and so that a movement of the further field of view or at least one of the field of view of the at least one 2D image automatically causes a corresponding movement of the volumetric field of view of the 3D image.

  • Publication number: 20050110788
Abstract: A computer program product for image manipulation of a source data set, the product being operable to: load a source data set, for example of voxel data, for image manipulation by the computer program product; generate and display image data of the source data set by allowing interactive user adjustment of a plurality of operational state conditions; and store the image data of a currently displayed image together with operational state data corresponding to at least a subset of its current operational state conditions in a standard image data format, such as DICOM. Storing operational state data with the image data allows a user later to reload the image data and return the computer program's other important configuration settings, so that a user can seamlessly continue with an interrupted session, either on the same workstation, or on a different workstation at a remote location.
