  • Publication number: 20240152245
Abstract: A computer system displays a first object that includes at least a first portion of the first object and a second portion of the first object and detects a first gaze input that meets first criteria, wherein the first criteria require that the first gaze input is directed to the first portion of the first object in order for the first criteria to be met. In response, the computer system displays a first control element that corresponds to a first operation associated with the first object, wherein the first control element was not displayed prior to detecting that the first gaze input met the first criteria, and detects a first user input directed to the first control element. In response to detecting the first user input directed to the first control element, the computer system performs the first operation with respect to the first object.

  • Publication number: 20240152974
Abstract: A cloud-based computer implemented method for automatic generation and publication of custom content includes: receiving, by an orchestrator, a first task to be performed from a schedule database; instructing, by the orchestrator, an engine to perform the first task; receiving, by the engine, data comprising profile data, a template from a content library, and content data; and rendering, by the engine, the custom content by creating a plurality of layers, each layer of the plurality of layers comprising an aspect of one or more of the data, and combing the plurality of layers to create the custom content.

  • Patent number: 11000855
Abstract: An unclogging system for the plumbing of a sink/garbage disposal assembly including a water supply line, a sink drain waste line, a garbage disposal waste line, and an end-outlet tee having a first inlet, a second inlet connected to the sink drain waste line, and an interior baffle disposed adjacent to the first inlet. The system includes a coupling adaptor having a waste-in end attached to the garbage disposal waste line, a waste-out end attached to the first inlet, a hollow interior for the passage of fluid/waste therethrough, and an inlet port. A water jet tube extending through the inlet port into the interior directs water toward the waste-out end and at the baffle. A solenoid valve allowing a flow of water from the water supply line to the water jet tube is coupled to a power outlet, which simultaneously powers the solenoid valve and the garbage disposal.

  • Patent number: 10467781
Abstract: Information is presented on a map that resembles a city map, with related information grouped into distinct “neighborhoods.” Such a display scheme takes advantage of spatial cognition in order to provide an organizational and presentational scheme by which users can more easily remember where to look for and find the right information. Metadata, notifications, and/or other auxiliary information can be presented alongside or superimposed upon the data itself.

  • Patent number: 7561155
Abstract: A method for reducing the transport delay in a computer image generator. The first step is dividing a single frame buffer into a plurality of screen bins. Next is storing primitives in each screen bin the primitives touch. Then the screen bins are rendered by row from top to bottom. Finally, at least one rendered screen bin is displayed from the single frame buffer before the rendering of all the screen bins has completed for the frame buffer. Preferably the step of displaying of the screen bins rendered should be started when the rendering is at least ½ completed. In some cases, the step of displaying of the screen bins rendered can be started after at least one row of screen bins has completed rendering. A hardware interlock can be used to ensure that the rendering process does not advance past the display process.

  • Publication number: 20070266344
Abstract: A method for graphically representing content of a database in an automobile entertainment system. The method includes presenting a primary display element on a display, wherein the primary display element represents a first node in a first hierarchical level of the data base; and presenting a secondary display element on the display, wherein the secondary display element includes a graphical indicator that varies in size according to the number of nodes in a second hierarchical level below the first hierarchical level of the database.

  • Publication number: 20070150840
Abstract: A geographical field is displayed including indicia, representing respective items stored in a navigation system, that are displayed in positions that correspond to geographic relationships of the items on the geographic field. In response to a user manipulating a user interface control device, a visible feature of the geographic field is altered to indicate browsing with respect to a predetermined succession of the stored items.

  • Publication number: 20060204712
Abstract: A two-layer secondary carpet backing including a woven scrim layer and a fibrous layer is described. The woven scrim layer is characterized as having a low open area and a flat weave. The two-layer secondary backing is capable of having a non-abrasive, textile back surface. The secondary carpet backing is also capable of having a construction that permits high carpet manufacturing speeds due to high air permeability and is capable of providing high dimensional stability, seam strength, and delamination strength to tufted carpets made therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20050260380
Abstract: Primary carpet backings for tufted carpets comprise, in one embodiment, fabric woven from warp tapes comprising polypropylene and weft yarns in a plain, closed weave with an average warp count of about 18 to 32 tapes per inch and a lower average weft count, wherein the warp tapes have deniers of about 250 to about 800 and the weft yarns comprise polypropylene tapes that are thicker and of greater denier than the warp tapes. In another embodiment carpets comprising a primary backing as described above tufted with carpet face yarn to provide a pile surface comprising a plurality of face yarn tufts on one side of the backing and a plurality of stitches of the face yarn on an opposite, stitched side of the tufted backing and, optionally having a secondary backing laminated to the stitched side of the backing, have good tuft holding properties for a wide range of carpet face yarn deniers, carpet pile surfaces and styles.

  • Publication number: 20030236582
Abstract: In some specific implementations, tracks of music make up a body of tracks available for playing. Metadata about the track may indicate relationships among the tracks, for example that they are jazz. Information about explicit and implicit reactions of a user to the playing of one or more of the tracks is stored. All of the available tracks are scored either directly as a result of the user reaction information or based on the relationships of the tracks to one another. The scoring is updated every time a user provides explicit or implicit reaction to a played track. Tracks are selected automatically for play based on the ratings or scores at the time of the selection and on a probabilistic technique that assures that every track has some possibility of being played at any time.
