  • Publication number: 20240104167
Abstract: A processor-implemented method for simultaneously tracking one or more objects includes receiving, via a dynamical system with a set of sensors, a first set of unlabeled measurements from one or more objects. Each of the measurements is a function of time. A set of candidate tracks is determined for the one or more objects. Probabilities of each of the first set of unlabeled measurements being assigned to each of the set of candidate tracks are computed. A track from the set of candidate tracks is determined for each of the one or more objects based on a joint probability distribution of track attributes and the probabilistic assignment of each of the first set of unlabeled measurements to each of the set of candidate tracks.

  • Patent number: 10851539
Abstract: A bridging termination clip for securing the terminal end of a steel channel or spazzer bar to a steel stud. The bridging termination clip may include a horizontal portion having a bridge plate and a pair of opposing legs, the legs extending vertically one from each side edge of the bridge plate in a substantially perpendicular relation thereto; a vertical plate connected to a rear portion of the bridge plate and extending upward in a substantially perpendicular relation thereto; and an opposing pair of side extensions connected to the vertical plate and extending rearward one from each side of the vertical plate in a substantially perpendicular relation thereto.

  • Patent number: 6612087
Abstract: The connector of the present invention comprises a planar sheet bent to form two perpendicular plates each of which is formed with one or more elongate slots. The slots on one plate are oriented so as to permit relative deflection of a building member in a vertical direction and the slots on the other plate are oriented so as to permit relative deflection of a building member in a horizontal direction. Each plate is mounted to a respective building member with fasteners passed through a slideable retainer, e.g., either a stepped washer or a guide to mount flush to the building member and slidingly retain the connector.

  • Patent number: 5906080
Abstract: Apparatus is provided for assembling a curtain wall, which is anchored at one end to a floor and at an opposite end to a primary structure in a sliding relation thereto in order to allow relative vertical flexibility in case of severe vertical deflection due to loading. This sliding relation permits the building sections to move under wind, live load, dead load or seismic forces with a minimum of damage transferred to the curtain wall. The apparatus is a bracket with a first plate for mounting to the primary structure and a second plate for mounting in sliding relation to the wall studs. The second plate is formed with slots which are vertically oriented, and a fastener with a spacer are fastened through each slot.

  • Patent number: 5904023
Abstract: A novel clip for connecting each of a series of metal studs in a building wall to a metal channel passing through an opening formed in each stud. The clip is formed of a plate bent into a right angle. One section of the plate forms a saddle portion adapted to straddle and be secured to the channel. A second section of the plate is adapted to be attached to a wall stud. In a first embodiment, the second section has a pair of plates offset from each other so that one of the plates resides behind and the other plate resides in front of the web of the stud to which the plates are assembled. In a second embodiment, the clip has a single plate which is attached to the stud. A third embodiment includes a stiffening rib formed on each of two plates to improve the rigidity of the clip. The saddle portion and the plates in all embodiments are secured to a respective channel and stud by a screw, rivet or the like.
