Abstract: A method and software architecture for grouping breakpoints. A plurality of breakpoints for halting execution of a program are created. A breakpoint group for logically associating one or more of the breakpoints is created. A portion of the breakpoints is added to the breakpoint group. The portion of the breakpoints is collectively enabled prior to executing the program by asserting an enable group command associated with the breakpoint group.

Abstract: According to some embodiments, it may be determined if a second simulator is in the process of exchanging information with a first simulator, If the second simulator is in the process of exchanging information, it may be arranged for the second simulator to complete the exchange even when the second simulator stops executing instructions.

Abstract: Dynamic link libraries (DLL) are loaded and linked so that exported symbols of each DLL can be accessed by the other DLLs. A method includes explicitly loading a first DLL and instructing the first DLL to explicitly load a second DLL to cause exported symbols of the second DLL to be accessible to the first DLL. The second DLL has code to implement an initialization routine to load another DLL. The first DLL calls the initialization routine in the second DLL to load the first DLL to cause exported symbols of the first DLL to be accessible to the second DLL.

Abstract: Provided are a method, system, and program for monitoring instructions queuing messages. Execution of an operation to add a message to a queue is monitored. Debug information for the put operation indicating a program counter of the instruction and a message address of the message in the queue are accessed. Monitor data is generated for the operation including the accessed debug information and the message content at the message address in the debug information.

Abstract: A processor code debugger method and system enables the setting at one time of breakpoints corresponding to a given line of source code associated with an instruction in multiple processing engines.
