  • Publication number: 20240112574
Abstract: A parking enforcement device can be secured to a surface adjacent to the area designated as NO PARKING. The enforcement device can include an elongated hollow body, a window provided to the tubular body, a battery, an internal frame assembly disposed inside of the elongated hollow body, and a camera disposed inside of the elongated hollow body. The internal frame assembly defines a cavity in which the battery is located. A camera support pole extends vertically upwards from the internal frame assembly. The camera is secured to the camera support pole and located vertically along the camera support pole such that the camera views outward through the window. A solar panel can be provided atop the parking enforcement device to recharge the battery.

  • Patent number: 10254402
Abstract: An apparatus for determining a distance to a target area includes an imaging system configured to provide at least two images of a target area. The images are associated with different imaging axes. A Lidar system including at least one laser is configured to direct an optical beam to the target and an optical detection system configured to receive a portion of the optical beam from the target area and establish a distance to the target area based on the received portion.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 9, 2019
    Assignee: Goodrich Corporation
    Inventor: Richard N. Lane
  • Patent number: 10116863
Abstract: A method of obtaining image data includes scanning an imaging area with an imaging device while obtaining multiple overlapping images of the imaging area. The method also includes transforming the overlapping images by performing frame averaging on the overlapping images to produce at least one enhanced image of the imaging area.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 14, 2016
Date of Patent: October 30, 2018
    Assignee: Goodrich Corporation

  • Patent number: 9885569
Abstract: A passive altimeter includes an imaging device, a groundspeed system, an image processing device operatively connected to receive an indication of groundspeed from the groundspeed system and to receive at least a first image from the imaging device taken at a first position and a second image from the imaging device taken at a second position spaced apart from the first position. The image processing device is configured to compare the first image and the second image to determine an altitude above ground using the indication of groundspeed from the groundspeed system.
