Abstract: A cleaning audit solution that allows a user to determine how well a surface has been cleaned is provided herein. Embodiments of the present invention are used to determine the effectiveness or proficiency of cleaning activities performed on a surface. Embodiments of the present invention are mixtures that are be sprayed on a wide variety of surface types; the embodiments remaining invisible to the naked eye until exposed to ultraviolet light. If, after cleaning activities have been performed, a substantial amount of the present invention remains on a surface, the effectiveness of the cleaning activity is substandard. However, if very little or none of the present invention can be seen on a surface after cleaning, the effectiveness of the cleaning is high.
