  • Publication number: 20080191570
Abstract: A pivot bearing device, particularly for a rotating circular table of a machine tool is provided, and includes a first device part, which is to be connected to an element that is to be rotatably mounted, particularly to the circular table, and a second fixed device part. The device parts are connected via at least one antifriction bearing upon which an axial force acts. A magnet device (21), which acts between the first and second device parts (2, 3), is provided for generating a compensating force (Fk) oriented in essentially the opposite direction to the axial force (Fa).

  • Patent number: 5230568
Abstract: A linear bearing with revolving roller elements has a carrier body on which a closed track is formed, the runner elements moving on this track, which comprises a load track, a return track, and two substantially U-shaped roller element deflection tracks. Lateral guide means are provided for the roller elements: the guide means have homogeneous lateral guide walls for the roller elements and are formed to be step-free and continuous over the length of the load track and over at least part of the adjacent deflection tracks.

  • Patent number: 4438989
Abstract: A ball bearing has inner and outer raceways, and a row of balls mounted to roll between said raceways. The outer raceway is defined by an outer ring axially held in position by flanges of an outer sleeve. An axially extending space is provided between the outer ring and one of the flanges of the outer sleeve, for receiving a bearing element determined by the use in which the bearing will be placed. Examples of the bearing function-defining element are an annular seal, a corrugated annular spring, and the combination of a corrugated annular spring and a rigid washer.

  • Patent number: 4391476
Abstract: A rolling bearing having rolling means guided in a cage between inner and outer bearing rings, and including a groove on one side of one bearing ring accommodating a radial projection of the cage and another groove on the other side of the bearing ring having inserted therein a separately formed restraining element for axially fixing the cage with respect to that bearing ring.

  • Patent number: 4312547
Abstract: A bearing in which a cylindrical pin extends axially into a bearing shell, and is separated therefrom by rolling elements. A first annular seal includes an annular support body having a U-shaped cross-section and fitted into a recess in the open end of the bore of the shell, and a flexible first seal affixed to the support body and slidingly engaging the cylindrical surface. A second annular seat has a lip engaging an inclined surface at the open end of the shell, and extends to slidingly engage the cylindrical surface. An annular collar of the second seal extends into the open end of the support body, to engage an annular surface therein. The collar is radially slit.
