In the context of a video/audio call, where the positions of the microphone and speakers are generally fixed, the speaker outputs may be controlled/modified to provide an improved signal-to-noise ratio. The audio emanating from the central speaker may be subdued or eliminated to reduce significantly the problems that occur due to the audio from the center speaker being captured by the microphone, which is typically in close proximity to the center speaker. The audio may be provided to the speakers by various ways, such as HDMI, RCA, and so on.

The high frame rate video stream is split into two separate video streams so that one video stream can be shown to a user or recorded, while the other video stream can be processed. The change of the bus interface being used is completely transparent to the application using the device. A system in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention creates a Physical Device Object (PDO) that is unique for each device, regardless of which bus interface is used by the device. An application using that is essentially linked to this unique PDO. In one embodiment, an exhaustive list of various devices connected to the different bus interfaces is created. This is done by creating a bridge between the enumerators for the various buses and a class enumerator.

Abstract: The antenna elements of the transponder of this invention are pierced with openings and thus have a general form of loops surrounding spaces devoid of any metallic elements. This arrangement diminishes the capacitance of the stray capacitor formed by the antenna elements and the body of the person carrying the transponder, thus improving the gain thereof. The invention is particularly applicable in the search for avalanche victims.
