Patent number: 11934548Abstract: Methods for centralized access control for cloud relational database management system resources are performed by systems and devices. The methods utilize a central policy storage, managed externally to database servers, which stores external policies for access to internal database resources at up to fine granularity. Database servers in the processing system each receive external access policies that correspond to users of the system by push or pull operations from the central policy storage, and store the external access policies in a cache of the database servers for databases. For resource access, access conditions are determined via policy engines of database servers based on an external access policy in the cache that corresponds to a user, responsive to a resource access request from a device of the user specifying the internal resource. Data associated with the resource is provided to the user based on the access condition being met.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2021Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Yueren Wang, Elnata Degefa, Andreas Wolter, Steven Richard Gott, Nitish Gupta, Raghav Kaushik, Rakesh Khanduja, Shafi Ahmad, Dilli Dorai Minnal Arumugam, Pankaj Prabhakar Naik, Nikolas Christopher Ogg

Publication number: 20080257763Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for packaging bottles having a neck portion. The system includes a plate having a base on which a plurality of bottles stand in a series of rows. The system also includes a bridge having a central planar portion and a plurality of arcuate recesses extending into a periphery of the central planar portion. Each recess is sized to receive a neck portion of one of the bottles. A means of binding the bottles together is provided, wherein the means of binding creates an inwardly directed force against the bottles. The bridge counteracts the inwardly directed force and thereby maintains the bottles in an upright position on the base.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2008Publication date: October 23, 2008Inventor: Richard OGG

Patent number: 7360647Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system for packaging bottles having a neck portion. The system includes a tray unit and a bridge. The tray unit has a planar base, first and second opposite sidewalls, and first and second opposite end walls. The sidewalls and end walls extend outwardly from a periphery of the base and connect thereto to define a rectangular structure for holding a plurality of bottles arranged in a series of rows. The bridge has a central planar portion and a plurality of arcuate recesses extending into a periphery of the central planar portion. Each recess is sized to receive a neck portion of one of the bottles. A method of packaging bottles having neck portions is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2004Date of Patent: April 22, 2008Assignee: Ogg Design, Inc.Inventor: Richard Ogg

Patent number: 6974047Abstract: The present invention provides an improved blow molded plastic non-round container having generally rectangular sidewalls that are adapted for hot-fill applications. The hot-fill container has two adjacent sides one with a vacuum panel and the other with a series of ribs in the label mounting area on the sidewalls. The opposing sidewalls are symmetric relative to the vacuum panel and rib shape and placement. The ribs and vacuum panel cooperate to resist container upon filling and cooling and also improves bumper denting resistance, ease of manufacture and light weight capability.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 2003Date of Patent: December 13, 2005Assignee: Graham Packaging Company, L.P.Inventors: Paul V.
