Abstract: Dental matrix band devices including a housing with a band, a tensioning device for the band with the control for the tensioning mechanism controllable by a control knob external to the housing, and at least one deflector pushbutton. The deflector pushbutton(s) applies pressure on an upper or lower portion of the band causing the geometry of the band to change. The resulting band geometry forms a conical loop better matching the configuration of a tooth. In one embodiment two deflector pushbuttons are provided and positioned to apply pressure on the upper or lower portion of the band depending on which deflector pushbutton is depressed in the housing. In another embodiment a single deflector pushbutton unit is provided with a pushbutton at each end.

Abstract: A trap monitoring apparatus, method and system includes an electronic monitoring device monitoring a trap for predetermined condition(s) based on received sensory input, the electronic monitoring device having a wireless transmitter that sends alert messages to a remote notification service based on receiving alerts from sensors, and further based on values of one or more operational parameters to determine whether to ignore sensed predetermined conditions, or to immediately notify or delay notifying a remote notification service.

The housing further has a movable housing portion, movable between a closed position and an open position, provided with a second roll support assembly coupled thereto for supporting a second roll of web material. The fixed and movable housing portions defining a housing chamber therebetween when the movable portion is in the closed position, for at least partially enclosing the two or more rolls of web material within the housing chamber. The movable portion is moved to the open position for providing access to the two or more rolls and allowing replacement of at least one of the first and second rolls.

The locking assembly is configured to lock the base part and the cover in the closed configuration when mounted to the dispenser and comprises an unlocking component mountable to one of the base part and the cover and having an unlocking body translatable to configure the locking assembly into an unlocked configuration; and a pushbutton at least partially contained in the unlocking body. The locking assembly is selectively configurable into a key-opening configuration wherein the pushbutton is prevented from translation and in a pushbutton-opening configuration wherein pressure on the pushbutton engages the unlocking body into translation to configure the locking assembly into the unlocked configuration.

Abstract: A patient support apparatus includes a patient support surface, a plurality of caster wheels supporting the patient support surface on a floor or ground surface, a brake for manually braking at least one caster wheel of the plurality of caster wheels, and a handle or pedal for manually operating the brake, with the handle or pedal at least having a brake position. The patient support apparatus also includes an electrical actuator configured to couple to the brake and to selectively output a driving force and a user interface in communication with the electrical actuator. In response to input at the user interface, the electrical actuator generating the driving force to actuate the brake to thereby brake the at least one caster wheel, and wherein the driving force of the actuator moves the handle or pedal to the brake positon when the actuator actuates the manually operable brake to brake the caster wheel.
