  • Publication number: 20230347277
Abstract: A system for processing biogas, the system comprising: a container, a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit housed in the container, the PSA unit having: a plurality of beds containing adsorbent material, the adsorbent material configured to selectively adsorb gas species from the biogas to process the biogas, a rotary valve module for distributing flow of 5 the biogas within the PSA unit, an inlet for supplying the biogas to the plurality of beds from outside of the container, and an outlet for transporting the processed biogas away from the PSA unit.

  • Patent number: 9764277
Abstract: A method of obtaining purified hydrogen and purified carbon monoxide from crude synthesis gas. A first crude synthesis gas stream is passed through a first separation zone to separate a hydrogen stream from a stream comprising carbon monoxide and methane. The carbon monoxide and methane are subjected to thermal reforming to produce a second crude synthesis gas, which is passed through a second separation zone to separate carbon monoxide from the second crude synthesis gas stream.

Date of Patent: September 19, 2017
    Assignee: Enerkem, Inc.

  • Patent number: 7079747
Abstract: A variable optical attenuator comprises a portion of a waveguide through which optical energy can propagate having a side surface through which optical energy can be extracted; a layer of thermo sensitive material having controllable optical properties, covering the side surface of the portion; a helicoidal heating element wrapped around the waveguide and covering at least the layer. The helicoidal heating element can be used to control the optical properties of the material by inducing a thermal transfer profile on the material using the heat dissipation of the heater through the material; wherein a wave propagation in the waveguide is influenced by the optical properties of the material controlled by the heating element.
