  • Patent number: 12188217
Abstract: A modular grid comprises a faceplate having at least one front opening and at least two tabs on its periphery, a sleeve configured to abut on the faceplate, and at least two attachments, each attachment being configured for insertion into an opening formed in a corresponding one of the at least two tabs and into a corresponding opening formed on the perimeter of the sleeve. The modular grid may be mounted on an extremity of a conduit, whether at its inlet or outlet side, and be shaped for mating with the extremity of the conduit. A perimeter of the faceplate may be circular, square, oval, rectangular, triangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, or octagonal.

  • Publication number: 20160059762
Abstract: A cup holder for a child safety seat comprises a rounded depression formed into an edge of the child safety seat, the depression having a cavity therein and an opening therethrough. A first cam surface is disposed within the opening. The cup holder further comprises a cup member having a base, an open side, a concave wall, and an extension arm. The extension arm is attached to the base of the cup member and comprises a second cam surface. The extension arm is positioned within the opening such that the second cam surface is in communication with the first cam surface, such that rotation of the cup member causes the first cam surface to track along the second cam surface. When the cup holder is in an opened state, the concave wall faces inwardly towards the child safety seat, defining a space for receiving a cup.

  • Publication number: 20070140907
Abstract: A method of making an optochemical sensor, the method comprising: providing a reflective substrate having a major surface; affixing a detection layer comprising at least one intrinsically microporous polymer to at least a portion of the major surface; depositing a substantially continuous semi-reflective metallic layer on at least a portion of the detection layer, the semi-reflective metallic layer comprising palladium and having a network of fine irregular cracks therein; and heating the detection layer and semi-reflective metallic layer in the presence of molecular oxygen at a temperature sufficient to cause the cracks to widen. Sensors prepared according to method are also disclosed.
