Abstract: A method for detecting leakage at a fluid connection for a gas turbine fuel supply system is disclosed herein. The method includes closing a flow control valve at an upstream end of the fuel supply system and pressurizing the fuel supply system with a compressed medium via a compressed medium supply to a target pressure. The target pressure is less than a pressure threshold of a check valve that is disposed downstream from the compressed medium supply and upstream from a corresponding combustor of the gas turbine. The method further includes pointing a receiver portion of an ultrasonic detection device proximate to at least one tube fitting of the fuel supply system located between the flow control valve and a combustor which is fluidly coupled to the fuel supply system. Detection of an increase in sound level and/or the sound of popping at the tube fitting is indicative of a leak at the tube fitting.

Abstract: Purchase card data used in a financial transaction is captured during the transaction by obtaining an image of a purchase card associated with an individual via an image acquisition component of a mobile device. The purchase card is identified and a second image is created comprising substantially only a visual representation of the purchase card. Account information is identified that is associated with the purchase card in the second image and an application form on the mobile device is automatically populated with the identified account information thus facilitating the entry of additional account information into the application form. The information is stored on the mobile device for use in subsequent purchases.

The purchase facilitating server may transmit a purchase confirmation to the mobile device as a receipt of the user's purchase.

Abstract: Techniques for suggesting products for purchase from a retail establishment using a mobile device allow a user to receive, on the user's mobile device, product suggestions and offers that are relevant to one or more products that the user has already scanned for purchase in the retail establishment, that are relevant to the user's shopping history, and/or that are relevant to the user's current location within the retail establishment as measured via the mobile device. While the mobile device is used to scan products into an electronic shopping cart, the server may analyze the current contents of the cart to generate a suggestion or offer for a product which the user may be likely to decide to purchase. If the user accepts the product suggestion, the purchase facilitating server may transact the user's purchase of the suggested product via the mobile device while the user is within the retail establishment.

Each one of the straight tube sections and each one of the return bend sections have an elliptically-shaped cross-sectional configuration. The plurality of serpentine tube bodies are arranged in a juxtaposed manner with consecutive ones of the serpentine tube bodies contacting each other at a point defining a series of stacked common planes disposed parallel with one another.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid barrier assembly (1) for the prevention of flow of liquid from one area to an adjacent area. The assembly (1) comprises at least two barriers (2,3) each comprising a substantially rigid container and a front wall (5) against which, in use, liquid is intended to be incident. Adjacent barriers (2,3) are linked by a connector (12) which comprises a first relatively rigid portion (13) and a second relatively deformable portion (15). The portions (13, 15) are received in respective recesses defined in neighbouring side walls of adjacent barriers (2,3). The second portion (15) is deformed upon juxtaposition of adjacent barriers (2,3) in a predetermined manner so as to form an effective water-tight seal between the barriers (2,3). The arrangement is particularly suitable for flood defence barriers.
