Patent number: 11777903Abstract: A method transmits data between a vehicle and a traffic security system. A number of transmission channels are available for transmitting data between the vehicle and the traffic security system. Data packets are specified for the transmission to the traffic security system. The transmission quality of the individual transmission channels is measured. A transmission configuration is selected from a plurality of transmission configurations, from the type of data and the ascertained transmission qualities, and other specifications according to a specified set of rules. The transmission configuration specifies particular transmission channels for individual data packets which are associated with a service, possibly as a function of the content of the data packet. An identifier characterizing the transmission configuration is added to the data packets.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2020Date of Patent: October 3, 2023Assignee: Frequentis AGInventors: Richard Prinz, Saadan Ansari

Patent number: 11431405Abstract: A method provides packet transmission of data between two terminal devices via at least one flying object. The flying objects are moving within a given swarm of flying objects and the flying objects are disposed in a grid being characterized by a number of flight paths. One flying object from the swarm of the flying objects is determined to be a reference flying object and each of the flying objects is assigned a position. Coordinate values of a receiving flying object within the swarm of the flying objects is derived from a respective data packet being transmitted. A number of sequential single transmissions for a transmittal of data between a transmitting flying object and the receiving flying object is performed. Each single transmission within the swarm of the flying objects occurs only between two respective flying objects which are topologically neighboring and in direct communication with each other.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2020Date of Patent: August 30, 2022Assignee: Frequentis AGInventor: Richard Prinz
