Abstract: A cooler/lunch bag has a detachable liner, which is attached to the bag by engaging a row of round studs on the bag with a row of “+” shaped slits in the liner. After the liner is detached, it can be folded up, inverted and covered by its plastic base in a storage position. Such cooler/lunch bag can be thoroughly cleaned and is suitable for long-term use, in contrast to the cooler/lunch bags with fixed liners, which become disposable when soiled.

Abstract: The pill cutter is a pill container with a blade and cuts pills within the cap for the blade while the blade is not exposed at any time. A cutting board is hinged to the end of the cap and has a clamp, which holds the pill and is always aligned with blade. No visual alignment of pill and blade is needed.

The liner is waterproof, easily removed, cleaned, repaired or replaced. The bag can be machine-washed. The label is attached from inside with a clip. Such labeling method with a clip can be applied to the regular medication organizers to add extra function as a labeled pill container. The last compartment of pill pen has a blade embedded at its end and functions as a pill cutter, which is covered with a safety cap, which has a serrated convex surface so as to function as a pill grinder. The cutting and grinding surface is the interior vertex of the cap of the pill pen.

Abstract: The beverage can sealer and holder functions as a unit. The beverage can sealer is the screw cap for the holder of the beverage can and has a circular ridge which, when screwed onto the beverage can holder, compresses a peripheral circular zone on the top surface of a beverage can to seal it airtight. A resealable drink spout is incorporated into the beverage can sealer. The drink spout is opened when it is pulled up and closed when pressed down. This art allows people to enjoy canned beverage while engaging in activities and maintains the pressure within the opened can when the unfinished beverage is stored.

Abstract: A speaker controller for a fire alarm system including a control panel and at least one speaker to broadcast tone and/or voice signals during a fire alarm condition acts between the control panel and the at least one speaker. The speaker controller includes a signal recognizer to monitor tone and/or voice signals conveyed to the speaker. Manually actuable switching means are provided to disable the speaker. A reset circuit is responsive to the signal recognizer and resets the switching means thereby to enable the speaker upon a predetermined signal condition being detected by the signal recognizer.
