Abstract: Provided are various embodiments relating to IL13R/IL4R contiguous polypeptides and IL13R/IL4R heterodimeric proteins from companion animal species and that bind to IL13 and/or IL4, including long-acting contiguous polypeptides and heterodimeric proteins. Such heterodimeric proteins can be used in methods to treat IL13 and/or IL4-induced conditions in companion animals, such as canines, felines, and equines.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a design method for a radiator of a vehicle power module. The design method includes: selecting a plurality of specific values from the possible value ranges of the first distance D1, the second distance D2 and the radius R, respectively, to form different combinations of the plurality of specific values, performing simulation calculations on the different combinations, and obtaining a temperature rise ?Tj and a pressure drop ?Pf corresponding to each combination to form a plurality of samples; through a response surface method, fitting explicit functions of the temperature rise ?Tj and the pressure drop ?Pf with the first distance D1, the second distance D2 and the radius R as dependent variables; and through a multi-objective optimization, determining the first distance D1, the second distance D2 and the radius R with an optimization objective that the temperature rise ?Tj and the pressure drop ?Pf are simultaneously minimized.

Abstract: Described herein are technologies relating to parsing at least one document to return a snippet that includes information that answers a question set forth in a query. A ranked list of search results is generated based upon the query, and a document represented by a search result in the ranked list of search results is retrieved from a search engine cache or a web server that hosts the document. The document is parsed, and snippets in the document are extracted and ranked. At least a most highly-ranked snippet is returned to a client computing device as including an answer to the question set forth in the query.

Abstract: Access to online search results is provided when a user device is offline. When a user search query is received while online, the search query is submitted to an online search engine. Search results received from the search engine are presented to the user, and the search query and search results are stored in a local data storage. When the search query is received while offline, the search results associated with the stored search query are retrieved from the local data storage and presented to the user.

An entity index may be compiled that includes entity files for a plurality of identified entities such that any information known about a single entity is contained in a single entity file and is easily accessible. Web indexes, including web page information, may be referenced in order to associate web pages with entities, or entity files. Once identified as related to an entity, a web page may be associated with an entity identifier that is associated with the related entity such that a search query for the identified entity results in both entity information for the entity and web pages associated with the entity.

Abstract: Functionality is described for forming a summary representation of a video item to help a user decide whether to obtain a full version of the video item. The functionality operates by: (a) receiving a video item; (b) dividing the video item into a plurality of segments; (c) extracting at least one key frame from each of the plurality of segments to form a plurality of key frames; and (d) organizing the video segments into one or more groups corresponding to one or more respective scenes based on the plurality of key frames, to thereby form the representation of the video item. The functionality can be used to communicate search results to a user, to provide a sample of the video item in a message, etc.

The primitive visual elements in the codebook provide universal visual parts for reconstructing images. The codebook and a resizing plug-in can be sent once to the user over a background channel. When the user selects a thumbnail image for enlargement, the system resizes the thumbnail image via interpolation and then refines the enlarged image with primitive visual elements from the codebook. The refinement creates an enlarged image that emulates the quality of the large, original image, without downloading the original image.

Abstract: Creating semantic summaries and abstractions of video requires high level knowledge of the domain of the video. Obtaining this high level information without human intervention is problematic. A method of producing video summaries and abstractions is provided where high level knowledge necessary for meaningful summarization is obtained from existing sources such as the worldwide web or an electronic programming guide. With this information, the summarization system can automatically identify significant events or subjects and extract video related to these events or subjects.

Received content is analyzed using a sequential series of classification techniques, each successive technique being implemented only if the previous technique did not result in classification of the content as adult content. In this way, adult content may be identified across a variety of different media types (e.g., text, images, video, etc.) and yet processing power may be reserved if one or more techniques requiring less power is sufficient to determine that the received content is, in fact, adult content. Content classification may be performed in-band (that is, in substantially real-time such that content may be identified and/or blocked at the time results of a user query are returned) or out-of-band (that is, prospectively as new content is received but not in association with a user query).

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing immediate access to comprehensive information and answers on a set of related search engine results pages for common searches executed in the entertainment domain relating to, for instance, music, musicians, movies and celebrities. Upon receipt of a keyword-based search query, a decision is made regarding what the user actually wanted to see as a search result. This information is then automatically presented in a dedicated region of the keyword search results page, typically with links to more refined information. Upon selection of a link, the refined information is also displayed in a dedicated region of the keyword search results page. In this way, the user does not have to navigate multiple, different user interfaces on a variety of different web sites in order to view the information desired.

Preferably the additional information is related to an object within the frame. A receiver receives the video and additional information and decodes the video in the same manner independently of whether the additional information is provided. The additional information is selectively presented to a viewer at approximately the time of receiving the frames. The system may also present information to a viewer from a unitary file containing an image and additional information associated with the image. A selection mechanism permits the selection of objects in the image for which the additional information is related thereto. A presentation mechanism provides the additional information to a viewer in response to selecting the object.

Abstract: Systems and methods for extracting data content items from a web page are provided. A template is created by labeling data content items of interest associated with a web page and generating a template Document Object Model (DOM) tree based on the labeled web page. DOM trees are also generated for additional web pages that contain data content items for which extraction may be desired. These DOM trees are compared to the template DOM tree to determine alignment there between. The aligned data content items may then be extracted from the additional web pages and indexed, as desired. Labeling the data content items of interest prior to generating a template DOM tree allows for the desired data content items to be specified and more accurately extracted from related and/or similarly structured web pages.
