  • Patent number: 11942217
Abstract: A system including a range of motion, quality of sleep, overall, and control modules. The range of motion module, prior to a procedure being performed on a patient, determines a first range of motion score of the patient based on a first signal generated by a sensor. The quality of sleep module, prior to the procedure being performed on the patient, determines a first quality of sleep score or a first pain score based on the first signal. The overall module determines a combined score based on the first range of motion score and the first quality of sleep score or the first pain score. The control module compares the combined score to a predetermined threshold and predicts an outcome of the procedure based on the comparison. The control module, based on the combined score, determines whether to perform the procedure, adjust the procedure or refrain from performing the procedure.

  • Patent number: 11942537
Abstract: A method and vertical FET device fabricated in GaN or other suitable material. The device has a selective area implant region comprising an activated impurity configured from a bottom portion of a recessed regions, and substantially free from ion implant damage by using an annealing process. A p-type gate region is configured from the selective area implant region, and each of the recessed regions is characterized by a depth configured to physically separate an n+ type source region and the p-type gate region such that a low reverse leakage gate-source p-n junction is achieved. An extended drain region is configured from a portion of an n? type GaN region underlying the recessed regions. An n+ GaN region is formed by epitaxial growth directly overlying the backside region of the GaN substrate and a backside drain contact region configured from the n+ type GaN region overlying the backside region.

  • Patent number: 5633905
Abstract: Within an integrated circuit a source of digital data is coupled to a distant destination by a serial data path that is characterized by being either an imperfect and lossy transmission line or as possessing significant high frequency attenuation. A single phase clock accompanies the data over the serial data path. A single phase to three phase clock generator at the destination creates the three phase clock. If the destination is a shift register, then the three phase clock can be used for stage-to-stage clocking within the shift register, as well as for getting data into the input bit of the shift register.

  • Patent number: 4897942
Abstract: A snow removal apparatus operable in a substantially optimum efficiency state using a variable ratio pulley. The snow removal apparatus includes a feature for sensing power demand made on the snowthrower under variable snow conditions. Responsive to the power demand, the fan speed and/or auger speed is reduced or increased in order to use the full engine power without stalling the engine.

  • Patent number: 4835377
Abstract: A tag has a memory programmable to store alphanumeric indications in a pattern identifying an object associated with the tag. The stored indications are convertible to signals transmitted to a displaced reader in an individual pattern at first and second frequencies to identify the objects. The memory may be programmed, during the production of a first logic level in a signal on a program pin, (a) by the operation of keys on a keyboard in a programmer housing, each key representing an individual alphanumeric character, or (b) from an external source such as a typewriter keyboard used in conjunction with the programmer. The signal on the program pin has a second logic level to provide for bulk erasing all particular memory positions. A configuration signal has a first logic level providing for the alphanumeric coding of the memory and a second logic level providing for the selection, at particular memory positions, of individual capacitors to generate signals at the first and second frequencies.

  • Patent number: 4115863
Abstract: The digital stroke display generates vectors by applying clock pulses to an up/down counter which through a digital-to-analog converter provides the deflection voltage for one of the display X or Y axes. The clock pulses are applied through a gate to a second up/down counter which through a second digital-to-analog converter provides the deflection voltage for the other of the X and Y axes. The gate is controlled by the overflow of an accumulator that is repetitively accumulating, under control of the clock pulses, a signal representative of the desired slope of the vector. Circular curves are generated by a concatanated series of vectors utilizing the vector generation apparatus where the signal representative of the vector slope is provided from a memory that stores the plurality of slopes for the concatanated vectors that comprise the circular curve.
