  • Patent number: 11918649
Abstract: Provided herein are PD-L1 binding molecules comprising or conjugated to a toxin, e.g. a Shiga toxin A Subunit derived polypeptide. In some embodiments, the PD-L1 binding molecules are cytotoxic. In some embodiments, the PD-L1 binding molecules are capable of delivering a CD8+ T-cell epitope to an MHC class molecule inside a PD-L1 positive cell. The PD-L1 binding molecules described herein have uses for selectively killing specific cells (e.g., PD-L1 positive tumor cells and/or immune cells); for selectively delivering cargos to specific cells (e.g., PD-L1 positive tumor cells or immune cells), and as therapeutic and/or diagnostic molecules for treating and diagnosing a variety of conditions, including cancers and tumors involving PD-L1 expressing cells (e.g., PD-L1 positive tumor cells or immune cells).

  • Patent number: 8424883
Abstract: A utility cart operable to provide objects thereon to a user that is in a position that is generally above the cart such that a portion of the cart to extended to be proximate the user. The cart further includes a frame that includes a base member having four legs that support a platform. The platform includes several recessed compartments that house lifting members. The lifting members are operably coupled to an upper tray. The platform further has disposed therein a plurality of gears that are operably coupled to drive rods, which operate the lifting members. A handle acts as the controller wherein the user can provide rotational force to the handle, which is transferred to the gears and subsequently the drive rods creating the movement in the lifting members which transitions the position of the upper tray.

  • Patent number: 6860417
Abstract: A low shock work transport system for moving workpieces into a pressure vessel without significant vibrations or mechanical shocks. The pressure vessel has two opposing ends with a sealable port in each of the opposing ends. A vessel rail is contained entirely within the pressure vessel with the two ends of the rail adjacent the ends of the pressure vessel. A movable rail is adjacent each end of the pressure vessel. Each movable rail is movable between a first position in which one end of the movable rail is within the pressure vessel and contiguous with the adjacent end of the vessel rail, and a second position in which the one end of the movable rail is outside the pressure vessel such that the sealable ports can be sealed. The workpieces are moved by sliding them over the upper surfaces of the rails.

  • Patent number: 6689992
Abstract: An electrical heating element, such as a graphite block, is resiliently held in electrical contact with a support block by a plurality of spring loaded connectors. The support block is electrically connected to an electrode. The spring loaded connectors extend through a plate, the heating element, and the support block. The connectors extend through slot shaped openings in the heating element such that the heating element can move in the direction of its length relative to the plate and the support block to provide a first degree of freedom between the electrode and the heating element. There may be up to six degrees of freedom in the mechanical connection between the electrode and the heating element.

  • Patent number: 6119927
Abstract: A method and apparatus for placing and attaching solder balls to a substrate having conductive pads in a predetermined pattern is disclosed. The substrate is placed on a carrier plate. An alignment plate having holes corresponding to the predetermined pattern is mated to the carrier plate with its holes aligned with the predetermine pattern on the substrate. Solder balls are loaded into each hole of the alignment plate. The solder balls may be loaded with a vacuum plate which uses vacuum to pick up solder balls in the predetermined pattern and place them over the holes on the alignment plate. The vacuum is released for dropping the balls in the holes of the alignment plate. Alternatively a shutter plate having holes corresponding to the holes on the alignment plate is fitted on the alignment plate and afforded slidable movement between an offset position and an aligned position. A ball is loaded in each hole in the shutter plate when it is in its offset position.

  • Patent number: 5271761
Abstract: This invention relates to molecular sieve compositions and processes for using the molecular sieves. The molecular sieves have a three-dimensional microporous crystalline framework structure of tetrahedral oxide units of AlO.sub.2, SiO.sub.2, TiO.sub.2 and/or FeO.sub.2. These molecular sieves can be prepared by contacting a starting zeolite with a solution or slurry of a fluoro salt of titanium and/or iron under effective process conditions to extract aluminum from the zeolite framework and substitute titanium and/or iron. The molecular sieves can be used as catalysts in hydrocarbon conversion processes and other processes.

  • Patent number: 4892720
Abstract: Molecular sieve compositions are prepared by extracting aluminum and substituting titanium and/or iron for extracted aluminum to give molecular sieve products containing framework titanium and/or iron atoms. The process of preparing the titanium and/or iron-containing molecular sieves involves contacting a starting zeolite with a solution or slurry of a fluoro salt of titanium and/or iron under effective process conditions to provide for aluminum extraction and substitution of titanium and/or iron.

  • Patent number: 4709315
Abstract: An isolated controller circuit responsive to an input signal voltage from the output of a low-pass filter referenced to an isolated reference potential; the controller circuit being characterized to provide a control signal at a signal output terminal referenced to a non-isolated reference potential. The isolated controller circuit comprises: a reference signal source referenced to the isolated reference potential for providing a reference signal and an amplifier and compensation means for amplifying and compensating the signal difference between the input signal and the reference signal to provide a compensated control signal referenced to the isolated reference potential. The controller circuit also has an oscillator and coupling means for coupling and scaling the compensated control signal referenced to the isolated reference potential and it provides the control signal at the signal output terminal referened to the non-isolated reference potential.
