  • Patent number: 9289347
Abstract: The present invention is a mobility device, (also referred to as a “rollator”), which provides a weight bearing architecture and enables the user to maintain an erect body posture and body weight support through the upper arms while enabling the legs to freely move under the user's center of body weight. Upper arm support is enabled through padded forearm rests, or “arm saddles”, which provide an elevated cushion rearward to support and position the user's elbows and transfer the center of the body weight vertically downward and through the rollator frame and thereby falling within its base of support as defined by its four support wheels. The invention's base of support is smaller than conventional rollators, thereby enabling responsive rotational movement by transferring the user's spinal rotation through the aforementioned arm saddles to the rollator frame resulting in a low-radius turn.

  • Publication number: 20080145803
Abstract: The invention includes an apparatus and method of determining the type of igniter for a burner at each stage of a boiler. The apparatus includes a controller operable to detect whether a first type of igniter or a second type of igniter is installed in the burner based on whether the first type of igniter or the second type of igniter transmits a response to the controller after receiving an activation signal from the controller.

  • Publication number: 20050162109
Abstract: The invention includes a gas valve control circuit for a gas-fired appliance and a method of activating the gas valve in the gas-fired appliance. The control circuit includes a controller, a first control circuit, a second control circuit, a first relay and a second relay. The first relay is operable to close when a switch in the first control circuit is activated. The second relay is operable to close when a switch in the second control circuit is activated. A third relay can be closed in response to activation of the second control circuit. The gas valve operates when the first and second relay are closed. The method includes the acts of closing a plurality of relays based on activation of a plurality of control circuits.

  • Patent number: 6095151
Abstract: A flat base anchored to any hard, smooth surface by two suction cups. Upon this flat base, two shafts rise perpendicular. The base supports a housing which fits over the base shafts. The housing has an opening which accommodates a standard pack of cigarettes, which are placed in the opening top or filter first. Two springs are located above the housing on the base shafts to create tension. Rubber caps at the top of the base shafts, aided with epoxy, contains the springs and housing to the base of the invention so that once the housing is pulled upward by one's hand the housing then is forced down toward the base from the tension of the springs and consequently "packing" the cigarettes.
