  • Patent number: 11930462
Abstract: Precision digital chronography based on detected changes in state of a processor is described. The changes in state may be detected by another processor and an averaged time interval generated. A signal corresponding to the averaged time interval may be communicated to a distributed database and propagated to remote systems. Devices associated with the remote systems may adjust or set a device clock in accordance with the averaged time interval.

  • Publication number: 20050052159
Abstract: A protection circuit for a multi-cell lithium battery pack is disclosed. The protection circuit monitors and compares the battery pack voltage level and automatically disconnects the battery pack from a charging signal when a turn-off threshold level is reached. Overcharging is eliminated, while maximizing the amount of charge on the battery pack, and thus duration of use.

  • Patent number: 5578885
Abstract: An alternator has a rotor with a plurality of permanent magnets disposed between opposing claw pole members and a field coil. The plurality of permanent magnets are secured to at least one ring-shaped carrier which surrounds the field coil and locates the magnets into appropriate positions between the fingers of the claw pole members.

  • Patent number: 4829163
Abstract: An improvement is provided for an electrically heated glass panel of the type where a resistive film is disposed on the panel and is connected between and along the length of a pair of spaced bus bars each of which is terminated in a respective voltage input terminal and where one of the bus bars includes a connector section to which the resistive film is not connected extending from the input terminal of the bus bar to a junction point on the bus bar beyond which the resistive film is connected to the bus bar. A sensor conductor is disposed on the glass panel and connected from at or beyond the junction point on the one bus bar to a sensor terminal and extends generally adjacent to the connector section of the bus bar.
