Abstract: The present application relates to compounded compositions, methods of making compounded compositions, kits comprising compounded compositions, containers comprising compounded compositions, and methods of using compounded compositions. For example, disclosed herein are compounded compositions comprising an anti-fungal agent and methods of using a compounded composition to treat or prevent a fungal infection or a suspected fungal infection. The method for separation of 99mTc isotope from molybdenum targets includes: i) providing an initial multicomponent mixture of elements, the mixture containing 99mTc; ii) dissolving the multicomponent mixture of elements with an oxidizing agent to oxidize the mixture of elements; iii) heating the mixture of elements at a temperature sufficiently high enough to sublimate a vaporized compound containing 99mTc; iv) condensing the vaporized compound containing 99mTc to form a reaction product; v) adding a base to the condensed reaction product to dissolve the 99mTc containing reaction product to form sodium pertechnetate (Na99mTcO4); and vii) purifying the crude solution of sodium pertechnetate Na99mTc04 using column chromatography to provide the 99mTc isotope as a radiochemical compound.

Abstract: A method of producing a compounded medication may include formulating a compounded transdermal cream that includes combining a diclofenac sodium solution and a lidocaine and prilocaine cream. The diclofenac sodium solution may be combined in an amount providing a diclofenac concentration of between approximately 0.1% and approximately 0.75% by weight of the compounded transdermal cream. The lidocaine and prilocaine cream may be combined in an amount providing an approximate equivalent concentration of each of lidocaine and prilocaine between approximately 1.5% and approximately 2.25% by weight of the compounded transdermal cream.

Abstract: The present embodiments may relate to topically delivered compounded medications for the treatment of scar tissue, skin disorders, and/or other ailments. In one aspect, a transdermal cream or gel may provide for the effective administration of multiple medications simultaneously. Preferably, a silicone-based gel may be provided as a base composition and may have a non-zero percentage of silicone or silicone variant. The silicone-based gel may comprise cyclopentasiloxane, polysilicone-11, dimethicone, and C30-45 alkyl cetearyl dimethicone crosspolymer, and include several active ingredients, such as glucocorticoids, antihistamines, and nerve depressants. The silicone-based gel may include a combination of fluticasone, loratadine, and gabapentin. The concentrations of fluticasone and loratadine may be relatively low, while that of gabapentin moderately high. The silicone-based gel may also have one or more local anesthetics, such as prilocaine and/or lidocaine.
