  • Patent number: 11918240
Abstract: A clot removal system comprises a catheter, a vacuum source, and a controller. The catheter comprises a proximal end, a distal end, and controller operating parameters and defines a lumen configured to be filled with a liquid column having a proximal portion. The vacuum source is configured to supply vacuum. The controller is configured to carry out a control pattern of turning on and off the vacuum based upon the controller operating parameters and is configured to receive the controller operating parameters in an automatic response to the catheter being operatively connected to at least one of the vacuum source and the controller and, responsive to the connection, to carry out the control pattern to change a level of vacuum at the distal end of the catheter.

  • Patent number: 11917003
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to propagating changes made on a file system volume of a primary cluster of nodes to the same file system volume also being managed by a secondary cluster of nodes. An application is executed on both clusters, and data changes on the primary cluster are mirrored to the secondary cluster using an exo-clone file. The exo-clone file includes the differences between two or more snapshots of the volume on the primary cluster, along with identifiers of the change blocks and (optionally) state information thereof. Just these changes, identifiers, and state information are packaged in the exo-clone file and then exported to the secondary cluster, which in turn makes the changes to its version of the volume. Exporting just the changes to the data blocks and the corresponding block identifiers drastically reduces the information needed to be exchanged and processed to keep the two volumes consistent.

  • Publication number: 20230374866
Abstract: A cutter element for a fixed cutter drill bit configured to drill a borehole in a subterranean formation includes a base having a central axis, a first end, a second end, and a radially outer cylindrical surface extending axially from the first end to the second end. In addition, the cutter element includes a cutting layer fixably mounted to the first end of the base. The cutting layer includes a stepped cutting face distal the base and a radially outer cylindrical surface extending axially from the cutting face to the radially outer cylindrical surface of the base. The radially outer cylindrical surface of the cutting layer is contiguous with the radially outer cylindrical surface of the base. The stepped cutting face includes a first step, a second step axially spaced from the first step, and a riser axially positioned between the first step and the second step. The first step is axially positioned between the riser and the base.

  • Publication number: 20230376938
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for minting, aging, storing, grading, and trading NFT-based trading cards in a way that mimics that of “real” tangible trading cards. Embodiments of the solution may comprise generation of an NFT-based trading card asset by minting a nonfungible token (NFT) representative of an initial digital content operable to be visually displayed on a computing device. The minted NFT-based trading card asset is recorded on a blockchain and comprises a smart contract that includes a degradation algorithm, the degradation algorithm operable when executed to modify the initial digital content into a derivative digital content.

Abstract: A drill bit for drilling a borehole in an earthen formation has a central axis and a cutting direction of rotation. The bit includes a bit body configured to rotate about the axis in the cutting direction of rotation. The bit body includes a bit face. The bit also includes a blade extending radially along the bit face. In addition, the bit includes a first cutter element mounted to a cutter-supporting surface of the blade and a second cutter element mounted to the cutter-supporting surface of the blade. The first cutter element has a central axis and includes a first forward-facing cutting face including a first cutting tip distal the cutter supporting surface and a first planar surface extending radially from the first cutting tip toward the central axis of the first cutter element. The first planar surface is oriented at a first effective backrake angle measured between the cutter supporting surface and a surface vector of the first planar surface.

  • Publication number: 20220196430
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for identifying choke points in an environment. One of the methods includes obtaining road data representing a plurality of roads in an environment; identifying one or more blockage points in the environment; generating a graph representing the environment, wherein: the graph comprises a plurality of nodes and edges, each node of the graph represents a respective location in the environment, each edge between a first node and a second node represents a road that connects the location in the environment represented by the first node and the location in the environment represented by the second node, and blockage points are not represented by nodes in the graph; processing the graph to determine a minimum cut of the graph; and determining, using the minimum cut of the graph, one or more choke points in the environment.

  • Patent number: 10197291
Abstract: A fire burner can have combustion ports through which fuel combusts. The combustion ports can be arranged in a curved pattern on the fire burner. As the fuel combusts on the fire burner, the fire burner can produce a pattern of combustion heat and combustion byproduct flow that causes the flame to appear to be spiraling, vortexing, and/or twirling with tornado-like characteristics.

  • Patent number: 9743772
Abstract: Self-adjusting furniture, seating, and accessories disclosed. When the user applies a force to the seating by shifting his or her center of gravity, the backrest and/or seat/bed portions of the seating/furniture move in response to the force to recline or adjust the seating/furniture or accessories. The user can return the seating to an upright position by again shifting his or her center of gravity. The angle of the backrest and/or seat/bed portions can vary relative to the ground as the user moves. Continuously varying the angle of both the backrest and seat/bed portions of the seating/furniture or accessories relative to the ground may improve a user's seating comfort, for example, by decreasing or negating the user's need to shift position on the seat when reclined or continuously responding the user's shift in position.

  • Patent number: 9468301
Abstract: A seating, including a sling seating, can have adjustable and/or non-adjustable cushions. An occupant of the seating can adjust the thickness and support provided by an adjustable cushion. The adjustable cushion can include an open cell foam in an airtight envelope. The occupant can open a control valve connected to the envelope to let air out of the airtight envelope while the occupant applies external pressure to the open cell foam, which decreases the thickness of the adjustable cushion as the open cell foam compresses. The occupant can close the valve to restrict airflow into and out of the envelope at a desired thickness of the adjustable cushion. The occupant can subsequently open the valve to let air into the envelope while the occupant does not apply external pressure to the open cell foam, which increases the thickness of the adjustable cushion as the open cell foam expands.
