  • Patent number: 12043470
Abstract: Shipping system for storing and/or transporting temperature-sensitive materials. In one embodiment, the system includes an outer box having four side walls, bottom closure flaps, and top closure flaps. A vacuum insulated panel (VIP) is detachably coupled to one of the top closure flaps and is removably covered by a cover. An insulation unit is removably positioned within the outer box, the insulation unit including a plurality of VIPs arranged to define a cavity bounded by a bottom wall and four side walls. A disposable liner is removably mounted on the insulation unit. The liner may be a thermoformed sheet and may cover the interior and top surfaces of the insulation unit. A plurality of temperature-control members and a product box may be removably positioned in the liner. Preferably, the liner is shaped so that the temperature-control members snugly fit around all sides of the product box.

  • Patent number: 11965641
Abstract: A twist-lock mounting system for lighting fixtures includes a mounting plate and a canopy cover. The mounting plate that is secured to a junction box includes a plate body, a first wing, and a second wing. The canopy cover that encloses the electrical wire and electrical connections includes a cover body and a track channel. The first wing and the second wing are laterally connected to the plate body. The first wing is diametrically opposed to the second wing about the plate body. The track channel is perimetrically connected around the cover body. The first wing and the second wing are inserted into the track channel via a pair of access gaps and slidably engaged within the track channel. As a result, the track channel and the cover body are able to enclose the plate body, the first wing, and the second wing.

  • Patent number: 8305783
Abstract: An inrush current protection circuit for a polyphase alternating current power system may include a plurality of current limiting resistors, each of which is electrically coupled in series between a respective one of a plurality of phases of the polyphase alternating current power source and a respective input of a polyphase transformer rectifier unit. The circuit may also include a plurality of power switches, each of which is electrically coupled in parallel with a respective one of the current limiting resistors, such that when each of the power switches is closed, essentially no electrical current flows through the respective current limiting resistor. The circuit may also include a power switch controller configured to control each of the power switches to be open such that an inrush current passes through the respective current limiting resistor rather than the power switch, and to be closed after a time delay has passed.

  • Patent number: 5543609
Abstract: A scan module is mounted in a frame within an electro-optical scanner. External shocks from the scanner to the frame are resisted by a plurality of shock mounts. Internal vibrations generated by the scan module are resisted from being transmitted to the frame by a plurality of isolation mounts. Printed circuit boards are mounted on the frame to make a compact, vibration-isolated, shock-protected assembly.
